    摘要: An intermediate transfer member for a thermal transfer printer adapted to an intermediate transfer method and comprising: an intermediate transfer member, which has a transfer layer, and on which an ink image is written by thermal transfer; and a printing medium onto which the ink image written on the intermediate transfer member is again transferred, wherein material of at least a surface layer of the transfer layer is silicon rubber containing: (a) alkenyl-group-containing organopolysiloxane; (b) organohydrogenpolysiloxane (c) non-reactive organopolysiloxane expressed by the following formula (1): ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having no aliphatic unsaturated group or a hydroxyl group, R.sup.2 are the same or different groups, such as methyl groups and phenyl groups, and 1 mol % to 30 mol % of all of R.sup.2 in each molecule are phenyl groups; and (d) a hydrosilylated reactive catalyst, the silicon rubber containing no inorganic filler.

    摘要: The potency to be written via ink during recording so as to write the ink image and the re-transferability during re-transferring of the ink image on a recording medium should be retained, securely, for a long term. The transferring layers of the intermediate transferring medium comprise surface layer and intermediate layer, wherein the material of the surface layer comprises a silicone rubber containing 1 to 20 parts by weight of a non-reactive organopolysiloxane of a viscosity of 100 to 100,000 at 25.degree. C. per 100 parts by weight of an addition-type silicone rubber with no inorganic filler; and the material of the intermediate layer comprises a silicone rubber containing 1 to 20 parts by weight of a non-reactive organopolysiloxane of a viscosity of 100 to 100,000 at 25.degree. C. per 100 parts by weight of an addition-type silicone rubber.

    摘要: A casing of a fixed disc memory unit consisting of a case body and a covering member jointly forming the casing with an air-tight sealing of a rubbery gasket therebetween can be imparted with very reliable moisture-proofness of sealing by forming the rubbery gasket by the FIPG method using a curable rubber composition comprising: (a) a fluorocarbon-containing organosiloxane polymer containing vinyl groups and consisting of the recurring units each represented by the general formula--[--SiMe.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --Rf--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --SiMe.sub.2 --O--]--,in which Rf is a fluorinated divalent polyether group; (b) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane or a fluorocarbon-containing organohydrogensiloxane having, in a molecule, at least two hydrogen atoms directly bonded to the silicon atoms; and (c) a catalytic compound in an amount sufficient to effect the addition reaction between the components (a) and (b).

    摘要: A method of chucking semiconductor wafers, in which a silicone elastic layer with high flatness is formed on the surface of a hard substrate having fine through-holes for vacuum chucking. Next fine through-holes in the silicone elastic layer, are provided, each through-hole communicating with the fine through-holes of the hard substrate. Next a semi-conductor wafer is held on the hard substrate by vacuum chucking from the back side of the substrate, so as to hold the semiconductor wafer securely on the substrate only by surface adhesion of the silicone elastic layer during polishing of the wafer. This method does not require wax or similar adhesive for holding the semiconductor wafer on the hard surface during the polishing process, and can realize a high-precision and high-quality surface polishing process for the semiconductor wafers.

    摘要: A method of producing a cover-packing assembly for a hard disk device is disclosed which comprises applying a liquid self-adhesive silicone rubber material to a predetermined position of a cover member, and curing the rubber material. According to the method, the formation of a packing member and the adhesion of the packing member to the cover member are performed simultaneously on the cover member. Thus, use of a pressure sensitive adhesive, an adhesive or the like, as in the case of employing a packing member comprising a molded or die-cut product, is unnecessary in this method, which is extremely advantageous.

    摘要: The present invention provides a unique solution of the difficult problem in the prior art that no efficient peelable release paper is available for temporarily protecting the sticky surface of the adhesive sheet material, e.g. adhesive tapes, adhesive labels, stickers and the like, from inadvertent sticking to an undesired surface when the sticking agent on the adhesive sheet is a silicone-based one. The inventive adhesive sheet material with temporarily protecting covering sheet is formed by use of a sheet of a hydrophilic material such as cellophane impregnated with water in a water content of at least 10% by weight as the temporarily protecting covering sheet. The thus hydrated protecting covering sheet is peelable with a relatively small peeling force without affecting the sticking power of the sticky surface of the adhesive sheet material.
