A heat-fixing silicone rubber roller comprising a roller shaft, a silicone rubber layer provided on the outer periphery of the roller shaft, and at least one of a fluorine resin layer and a fluorine rubber layer, provided on the outer periphery of the silicone rubber layer. The heat-fixing silicone rubber roller has a coating layer of fluorine resin and/or fluorine rubber excellent in interlaminar adhesion and durability.

An integrally molded automotive waterproof connector is disclosed which comprises a thermoplastic resin and integrated therewith an oil-bleeding silicone rubber, the thermoplastic resin containing a thermoplastic resin oligomer containing at least one aliphatic unsaturated group. In the connector, the adhesion between the thermoplastic resin and the silicone rubber is satisfactory regardless of the length of storage period as compared with connectors comprising a thermoplastic resin and a silicone rubber integrated therewith after priming. Further, the connector of the present invention is excellent in production efficiency and workability, is reduced in connector housing fitting force, and can retain satisfactory waterproofness.

A liquid form addition curable silicone rubber composition for forming a fluororesin covered fixing roller is provided. This composition includes (a) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane with at least two alkenyl groups bonded to non-terminal silicon atoms; (b) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane with at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms, in a sufficient quantity to produce a molar ratio of silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms within said constituent (b) relative to silicon-bonded alkenyl groups within said constituent (a) of 0.4 to 5.0; (c) an effective quantity of a platinum based catalyst; (d) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of dry process silica; and (e) 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of a cyclic diorganopolysiloxane with at least three silicon-bonded alkenyl groups. This composition is used for formation of the silicone rubber layer of a fixing roller made up of a metal core, a silicone rubber layer on the core, and a fluorine based coating provided on the rubber layer. Good adhesion is obtained between the silicone rubber layer and both of the metal core and the fluorine-based coating, and as a result excellent durability is achieved.

A liquid form addition curing type silicone rubber composition for roll forming purposes is provided which displays excellent stability and little variation in viscosity over time at room temperature, and yet also offers excellent curability at high temperature. A fixing roller purpose liquid addition-curable silicone rubber composition including (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having in one molecule at least two alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms; (B) from 1 part by weight to 30 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having hydroxyl groups at both terminals of the molecular chain; (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having in one molecule at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms; and (D) a platinum group metal compound in a catalytically effective quantity. The SiH groups in the component (C) is present in an amount of from 0.4 to 5.0 equivalent weight per one alkenyl group in the component (A). This composition is a substantially non-foamable and addition-curable liquid silicone rubber composition, which is therefore suitable for the fixing roller purpose. The composition has a good moldability to a mandrel and enables production of a fixing roller with a silicone rubber layer having superior toner releasability and mechanical strength.
