摘要: To provide a waterproof connector capable of reducing a load applied upon connection or separation of a male connector to or from a female connector while sufficiently ensuring sufficient waterproofing. A plurality of individually fitting projections, each being adapted to support a female terminal, are provided on the top surface of a collectively fitting projection provided in a female connector housing. In a male connector housing, a plurality of individually fitting recesses, in each of which an associated one of the individually fitting projections is fittable, are provided in a bottom surface portion of a collectively fitting recess in which the collectively fitting projection is fittable. Each of the individually fitting recesses is adapted to support a male terminal. An elastic sealing member supported by the female connector housing includes a pair of collectively sealing lips respectively formed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a collectively sealing portion to be held between the collectively fitting projection and the collectively fitting recess, and a pair of individually sealing lips respectively formed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of each of the individually sealing portions to be held between the associated one of the individually fitting portions and the associated one of the individually fitting recesses.

Upon operation of switching a power supply on, an opening ceremony display is displayed. However, upon operation of switching the power supply off, an ending ceremony display is displayed. By displaying vehicle owner information particularly together with the opening ceremony display, a satisfactory feeling of the owner can be obtained.

摘要: The invention provides a display device for vehicles capable of quickly and reliably displaying high-priority and high-emergency information, while maintaining sufficient display space for other information. The vehicles may be of the type including a trunk provided with a cover. The display device has a display section in which display patterns are used. The display device includes an open position detecting device which detects that the cover of the trunk is open. A warning design pattern producing device generates a warning design pattern which visually expresses a warning when the cover is open. A warning display priority device displays the warning design pattern, prior to other information, on the display section when the cover is detected to be open.

摘要: The present invention accurately detects the illumination on the surface of an instrument panel, to thereby enable an easy view of the instruments. A meter unit includes an instrument panel in which a speedometer and other instruments are arranged, and an information display panel for displaying various information by characters and other graphic symbols. The instrument panel has a translucent dial, on the back side of which illuminating lamps are installed. A light sensor is located in the speedometer adjacent to indicators which display various kinds of information. Since the actual illumination on the instrument panel can be accurately detected in accordance with a result of detection by the light sensor, the luminance of the illuminating lamp can be controlled on the basis of the result of the detection, to thereby provide proper illumination for the rider's easy view of the instruments.

摘要: An injector is stored in a fixing block integrally formed with an intake manifold. A soundproof cover covers the entire electric supply terminal projecting from the injector in a lateral direction and the coupler connected to the plug. In addition, the soundproof cover brought into close contact with a fuel distribution pipe covering over top portions of a plurality of injectors to supply fuel and with the intake manifold to prevent operating sound from leaking out. Further, a hard material cover for covering the fixing block of the intake manifold, the soundproof cover and the fuel distribution pipe so as to improve its aesthetic appearance as well as its soundproof effect is also provided. This arrangement results in shutting off operating sound from an injector of an engine having a cylinder head projecting in a transverse direction of a vehicle body.

摘要: To provide an auto-cruise canceling device for maintaining a good operating response of the vehicle. A DC servo-motor is used as an actuator for regulating a throttle opening during auto-cruising. When a throttle grip is turned during regulation of the throttle opening by the servo-motor, namely, during a cruising state, a turning force transmitted to a throttle drum through a throttle cable causes a variation in the load on the motor. An ECU detects load variations based on the current in the servo-motor. If the load variation is not less than a predetermined value, it is judged that a rider's cruise canceling action has been made, and bias of the servo-motor is stopped, thereby canceling the cruising state.

A side stand device includes a side stand bracket mounted on the body frame. A side stand is rotatably mounted through a pivot shaft to the bracket, and a rotary switch is provided in coaxial relationship with the pivot bolt through a securing bolt. A sheet is interposed between the rotary switch and the pivot bolt, and a tube and a sheet are interposed between the rotary switch and the securing bolt. The sheets and the tube are formed from rubber members. A cushion member is interposed between an engaging member of an inner rotor in the rotary switch and a locking hole of the side stand. The cushion member is formed from a rubber member.

摘要: A handlebar switch mounting structure capable of firmly attaching a handlebar switch unit on a handlebar pipe and to improve the outward appearance of the handlebar switch. The handlebar switch mounting structure includes a first bracket having a circular portion which can be attached on substantially a half of the periphery of the handlebar pipe portion and front and rear flange portions and extended from both ends of the circular portion. The second bracket is provided that includes a circular portion which can be attached on the remaining half of the periphery of the handlebar pipe portion. The first and second brackets are securely fixed on the handlebar pipe portion by joining the second bracket to the first bracket set on the handlebar pipe portion. With the front and rear flange portions sandwiched together, the first and second case halves are joined and then attached to the handlebar pipe portion through the front and rear flange portions.
