摘要： This invention provides a nonhuman transgenic mammal carrying transgene comprising the regulatory genes capable of functioning in the hyperacute rejection-occurring local cells and gene encoding human N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase III (GnT-III), or a nonhuman transgenic mammal carrying transgene comprising the regulatory genes and genes encoding GnT-III and the human complement inhibitor. Because of reduced α-Gal antigens in the hyperacute rejection-occurring local cells or because of both reduced α-Gal antigens and expression of the human complement inhibitor, the transgenic mammal of this invention can effectively inhibit the hyperacute rejection caused by discordant xenotransplantation. Consequently, this invention provides the transgenic mammal suitable for organ transplantation.

摘要： The present invention provides the base sequence defined as Sequence No. 1, DNA comprising a part of the sequence, or DNA containing the sequence, and relates to a promoter gene of the porcine complement inhibitor. In generating transgenic pigs transformed with human complement inhibitor and/or such thrombosis-inhibiting factors as thrombomudulin (collectively termed the complement inhibitor), DNA of the invention can effectively be used to express the complement inhibitor by integrating the gene into the upstream part of the human complement-inhibitor gene. Since hyperacute rejection, which occurs on transplanting a porcine organ or tissue to man, can be prevented, xenotransplantaion of the porcine organs and tissues to man will become possible. Therefore, the problem of the lack of donors for transplantation can be solved.

摘要： The invention presents a swine cell not expressing α-1,3-galactosyl transferase and expressing human complement inhibitor and/or human N-acetyl glucosaminyl transferase III; a method of selecting the same; and a swine for xenotransplantation. The swine for xenotransplantation of the invention is very useful in inhibiting the acute rejection characteristic to xenotransplantation because it does not express α-Gal antigen but inhibits the progress of a complement reaction, if unexpectedly induced, and/or expresses little xenoantigen other than α-Gal antigen.

摘要： A shock absorber in which a flow of hydraulic oil caused by sliding movement of a piston in a cylinder is controlled by a pilot type main valve and a pilot valve to generate damping force. The valve-opening operation of the main valve is controlled by adjusting the pressure in a pilot chamber with the pilot valve. A valve block and a solenoid block are connected together into one unit and inserted into a casing before being secured with a nut. At this time, an actuating rod of the solenoid block is engaged with a pilot valve member retained by a pilot spring and a fail-safe spring in a cylindrical portion of a pilot body of the valve block.

A plurality of the sheet-like plates including an outermost layer of this laminated body comprises a flat portion substantially perpendicular to the magnet, and an extended portion bent to a direction substantially parallel to the magnet. A part of the sheet-like plate having the extended portion disposed to the outermost side is formed into a thickness smaller than thicknesses of the other parts.
