    摘要: The bearing rings 1 and 2 of a rolling bearing is formed of one kind of titanium alloys of &bgr; type titanium alloys, near &bgr; type titanium alloys and &agr;+&bgr; type titanium alloys. The titanium alloy has a surface hardness of Hv 400 or more and less than Hv 600 for increasing the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the bearing ring. Spherical rolling elements 3 rolling on the raceway surfaces 1a and 2a of the bearing rings 1 and 2 are formed of ceramics such as silicon nitride. When &bgr; type titanium alloys or &agr;+&bgr; type titanium alloys after a solution treatment and applied with an oxidation treatment at a low temperature of 400 to 600° C. are used as the material for the bearing ring, a bearing ring made of titanium alloy suitable to use under a circumstance requiring corrosion resistance is obtained.

    摘要: The invention is drawn to a method for suppressing an immunoresponse in animals by administering an estradiol derivative-chlorambucil conjugate of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is alkyl or alkoxyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R.sup.2 is acyl, dansyl, or alkyl; R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 independently are H, oxo, OH, or acyloxy; m is an integer of 1 to 3; and n is an integer of 0 to 3; provided that when n is 0, all of R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 are not H at the same time, and at least one of R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 is a group other than H and OH; and further, when n is 2 or 3, the groups R.sup.1 are the same or different.

    摘要: A motor-driven wheel driving apparatus has a wheel bearing, a planetary reduction gear, a driving section with an electric motor to drive the planetary reduction gear, and a rotation member. The wheel bearing includes a wheel hub, an inner ring, an outer member and double row rolling elements arranged between the inner and outer raceway surfaces. The planetary reduction gear includes an input element, a stationary element, a plurality of planetary, and an output element to rotatably support the planetary elements relative to a connecting shaft. The driving section forming the electric motor has a stator housing, a stator portion contained within the stator housing, and a rotor portion secured on the rotation member arranged opposite to the stator portion via a predetermined air gap. The connecting shaft is removably and torque-transmittably connected to the wheel hub. The connecting shaft is adapted to drive the wheel by transmitting the rotation of the electric motor to the wheel hub via the planetary reduction gear.

    摘要: A tripod type constant velocity universal joint which includes an outer member having three axially extending track grooves formed in an inner circumferential surface thereof, each of the track grooves having roller guide surfaces on a pair of opposing side walls thereof, a tripod member having three radially projecting trunnions, and rollers rotatably carried on the trunnions, respectively, through a series of cylindrical rolling elements, the rollers being accommodated in the track grooves, respectively, so that the rollers are movable axially of the outer member with each said roller rolling along one of the opposing roller guide surfaces. The cylindrical rolling elements roll directly on an outer circumferential surface of the trunnion. Each said roller has an annular radial projection at each axial end thereof. The roller with the annular projections and a series of the rolling elements retained along an inner periphery of said roller form an independent assembly capable of preventing the rolling elements from dispersing prior to mounting the assembly on the trunnion.

    摘要: The present invention realizes a high-precision positioning with high stability, by fully utilizing a Bingham fluid characteristic possessed by an ERF (electro-rheological fluid). To this end, motion of a driving part is transmitted to a movable part via shearing stress of the ERF. Since the shearing stress can be variably controlled by adjusting an electric field to be applied to the ERF, the movable part can be moved to a target position by a predetermined output. When the movable part is to be stopped, the driving part is decelerated and stopped to thereby thermally dissipate an excessive kinetic energy of the movable part. By keeping on applying an electric field at the time of stopping, the movable part is exerted with an infinite apparent viscous stress by virtue of the Bingham fluid characteristic, to thereby suppress an influence of an external force. Further, by constituting a damping or braking part to include an ERF, it also becomes possible to render the shearing stress of ERF to act as a resisting force, thereby damping a motion of the movable part.
