    摘要: In a cell analyze apparatus, a light beam is irradiated onto cells (or particles like the cells) flowing through a flow cell so as to measure cell light information for each cell with respect to a plurality of parameters (for example, the forward scattered light intensity, the right angle scattered light intensity and the intensity of fluorescence by different dye). Based on a minimal point of a histogram associated with the cell light information with respect to one or more parameters, the cell population is subdivided into fractions. When the minimal point is missing in the histogram, the parameters above are converted by use of a predetermined conversion expression (for example, a coordinate conversion is effected on the parameters) such that a minimal point is detected from the histogram of cell light information related to the new parameters obtained by the conversion, thereby subdividing an objective cell population.

    摘要: A cell analyzing apparatus which employs flow cytometry to obtain the concentration (the cell count per unit volume) of a specimen under examination is adapted to measure either the cell count of a control specimen the concentration of which is known or the length of time the control specimen is measured. The concentration of the specimen under examination is calculated based upon the cell count thereof obtained over a length of measurement time identical with the length of measurement time of the control specimen. Alternatively, the concentration of the specimen under examination is calculated based upon the length of measurement time thereof needed to obtain a cell count identical with that of the control specimen.

    摘要: A cylinder head gasket for internal combustion engine, which comprises a gasket body formed with hole for combustion chambers and holes for coolant passages is disclosed, in which protruded portions of high thermal conductivity metal whose thickness is larger than the thickness of the gasket body are provided around the hole for combustion chamber and elastic seal members whose thickness is larger than the thickness of the protruded portions are provided around each of the holes for coolant passages. The gasket body may be made of a metal of high thermal conductivity. In case where the gasket body is made of a material permeable to liquid, the seal members may be provided such that they cover peripheral walls of the holes for coolant passages, respectively.

    摘要: A memory device has a semiconductor substrate, and memory cells provided at intersections between word line conductors and bit line conductors. Each memory cell has a switching transistor and an information storage capacitor. Adjacent two memory cells for each bit line conductor form a memory cell pair unit structure, in which first semiconductor regions of the transistors of the adjacent two memory cells are united at their boundary into a single region and are connected to one of the bit line conductors via a bit line connection conductor, the gate electrodes of the transistors of the adjacent two memory cells are connected to word line conductors adjacent to each other, respectively, the second semiconductor regions of the transistors of the adjacent two memory cells are connected to the respective information storage capacitors. A series of memory cell pair unit structures formed under one bit line conductor is positionally shifted with respect to a series of memory cell pair unit structures formed under adjacent first and second bit line conductors on opposite sides of the one bit line conductor, respectively, such that a second information storage capacitor of a memory cell pair unit structure formed under the adjacent first bit line conductor and a first information storage capacitor of a memory cell pair unit structure formed under the adjacent second bit line conductor are located adjacent to a bit line connection conductor of a memory cell pair unit structure formed under the one bit line conductor.

A bearing housing portion of the cutter blade is provided for forward and rearward movement, a belt cover for covering the whole driving belt is fixed to the edger vehicle, and a belt braking device is arranged between the front end of the belt cover and the front driven pulley, whereby performing ON-OFF operation of a clutch and engagement/ disengagement of a brake simultaneously is enabled. In this way, the fixed belt cover can be compact and the operation for changing of working conditions can be simplified.

The belt is engaged/released by changing the distance between the shafts of the two pulleys by swinging the swing arm, the distance between the driven-side pulley cover and the pulley to be driven having a small value so as to induce contact between the pulley to be driven and the driving belt at the time of belt release, and belt inlet and outlet portions of the drive-side pulley cover being shaped and arranged to be closer to the driving belt when under tension than the intermediate portion of the drive-side pulley cover so as to release the driving pulley and the driving belt. Another embodiment of the edger includes a driven-side pulley cover having a slant portion for a sliding and pushing the driving belt to the side surface of a pulley groove of the pulley to be driven when the belt is loosened.
