In the battery, the power generating element and the electric circuit portion are formed by stacking a plurality of layers on the substrate, and each of the layers is configured such that the power generating element and the electric circuit portion are formed by stacking the layers.

The invention relates to a fibrous acoustical material for reducing noise transmission. This fibrous acoustical material comprises first, second and third fibers. The first fiber has a first fineness of 1.5-20 deniers and a first softening point. The second fiber has a second fineness of 1.5-15 deniers. At least a surface of the second fiber has a second softening point which is at least 30° C. lower than the first softening point. The third fiber has a third fineness of 1.5-15 deniers. At least a surface of the third fiber has a third softening point which is lower than the second softening point and at least 80° C. lower than the first softening point. The first, second and third fibers are respectively in amounts of 10-90 wt %, 5-85 wt % and 5-85 wt %, based on a total weight of the first, second and third fibers. The first, second and third fibers are each within a range of from 20 to 100 mm in average fiber length. The fibrous acoustical material has an average apparent density of from 0.01 to 0.8 g/cm3. The fibrous acoustical material is light in weight and superior in acoustical capability, heat resistance and resistance to compressive force.

A feedback type air-fuel ratio control system controls the air-fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture fed to an internal combustion engine in accordance with an information signal issued from a first oxygen sensor installed in an exhaust line of the engine. The exhaust line has a catalytic converter at a position downstream of the first oxygen sensor. There is further provided a system in the control system, which detects deterioration of the first oxygen sensor. The system comprises a computer and a second oxygen sensor of delayed response type installed in the exhaust line at a position upstream of the converter. The computer defines higher and lower slice levels with respect to the output of the second oxygen sensor and compares the output of the second oxygen sensor with the higher and lower slice levels.

This invention concerns a secondary battery which ensures safety with a simple structure and promotes exaltation of the service life of battery. This secondary battery is formed by interposing a nonaqueous electrolyte between the positive pole and the negative pole and connecting a group of diodes between the positive pole terminal forming the positive pole and the negative pole terminal forming the negative pole in the direction in which the forward direction voltage is applied. Owing to this structure, the secondary battery is enabled to possess the function of protecting the battery from overcharging and overdischarging even when the voltage is abnormally lowered during the course of discharging.
