    摘要: The present invention provides an arc ion plating system capable of easily moving a cathode and a workpiece in and out of a vacuum chamber for exchange, surface cleaning, and the like. A door is provided for opening/closing an opening portion provided on the vacuum chamber. A movable carrier that is movable in and out of the vacuum chamber through the opening portion is mounted. The cathode and the workpiece are provided on the movable carrier. The cathode and the workpiece that are mounted on the movable carrier are carried in and out of the vacuum chamber together with the movable carrier.

    摘要: A method for cladding a corrosion resistant high alloy material on surfaces of crossed cavities in a vessel of a high strength metallic material forming a valve casing or the like, the method including the steps of prefabricating first and second cladding structures of generally tubular shapes conforming with the crossed cavities from a thin sheet of a high alloy material; providing grooves on the surfaces of the crossed cavities for receiving corner members of a high alloy material to be located at joined corners of the first and second cladding structures at the intersection of the crossed cavities and end members of a high alloy material to be fitted on end portions of the cladding structures; assembling the first and second cladding structures, corner members and end rings into the crossed cavities; sealing the contacting surfaces of the assembled parts by welding the end members to the vessel and cladding structures; coalescing the assembled parts and the vessel by applying a high pressure to the cladding structures at a high temperature; and removing overlapped portions of the coalesced cladding structures at the intersection of the crossed cavities to communicate the latter with each other.

    摘要: A system for discharging a thermal decomposition residue containing carbon residue and steel wire balls, the discharge system including: a discharge mechanism including a double shaft screw conveyer having respective screws thereof supported at one end thereof and located contiguous to a residue outlet of a thermal decomposition unit, a housing hermetically connected to the residue outlet of the thermal decomposition unit and enclosing the double shaft screw conveyer with ample space on the upper side thereof; a first outlet provided in a front bottom portion of the housing for discharging the carbon residue transferred by lower portions of the double shaft conveyer; a second outlet provided at the discharging free end of the double screw conveyer for discharging the steel wire balls transferred by upper portions of the double screw conveyer; a seal provided in said first outlet for shielding the interior of the housing from ambient atmosphere; and a water-sealer including a water bath, a chute connected to the second outlet at the upper end and opened into the water bath at the lower end thereof, and a conveyor for transferring the steel wire balls dropped into the water bath through the chute to a position outside the water bath.

    摘要: Apparatus for performing operations of agitating a material to be treated in a rotary kiln and scraping away substances adhering to the inner wall of the rotary kiln effectively at a high efficiency so as to operate the rotary kiln continuously for a long time and perform the heat treatment in the rotary kiln very smoothly.The apparatus includes a cylindrical cage having openings enabling a material to be treated to pass therethrough in both the axial direction and the radial direction, the cage including a supporting frame and a plurality of plate members extending in the axial direction of a kiln proper and being arranged at prescribed intervals on the outer periphery of the supporting frame, the cage having a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the kiln proper and being inserted in the kiln proper in such a state that at least one of the plate members is contacted with the inner face of the kiln proper so that the cage is freely rotated with rotation of the kiln proper, and stop means engaged with a part of the cage to intermittently stop the rotation of the cage.
