    摘要: In a pressure sensor, a force is transferred via a pressure plunger end made of relatively hard material onto a measurement element including a sensor membrane on a support. The sensor membrane is part of a micromechanical arrangement made of silicon. A metal structure made of a metal of lower hardness compared with the hardness of the material of the pressure plunger end is applied onto the sensor membrane. This metal structure can be impressed and plastically deformed with increased force by the contact surface of the pressure plunger end, in such a way that conforming contact of the contact surface is achieved, and potential angular errors are compensated for.

The areas of mechanical tension may be influenced by providing grooves and/or recesses in the bottom surface of the silicon chip and by providing grooves in the top surface of the silicon chip.

    摘要: The device for determining load in internal combustion engines includes a pressure sensor connected with a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine which produces an output signal depending on a combustion chamber pressure, a crankshaft angle sensor for detection of a crankshaft angle of the internal combustion engine and a processor for determining a load of the engine from relative values of the output signal of the pressure sensor at predetermined crankshaft angles. The processor includes a device for determining the load from a pressure difference between combustion chamber pressures measured at two different predetermined crankshaft angles (x1, x2) or from two integrated pressure values. The integrated relative pressure values are obtained by integration of a pressure-proportional output signal of the pressure sensor between two different predetermined crankshaft angles.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine, for motor vehicles having a direct fuel injection and externally supplied ignition, which has at least one combustion chamber enclosed between a cylinder head and a reciprocating piston displaceable in a cylinder bore, the combustion chamber being closable by at least one inlet valve for air aspiration. To attain extensive homogeneity of the mixture formation in direct fuel injection that assures reliable, thorough combustion of the mixture, the combustion chamber is preceded at its upper end by a chamber, which opens toward the combustion chamber and has an inside cross section that is substantially smaller than the combustion chamber and increases steadily toward the combustion chamber. The injection and ignition take place in the chamber.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for calibrating a pressure sensor (7) of a fuel-metering system of an internal combustion engine wherein the fuel-metering system includes: a high-pressure pump (2) for pumping fuel from a low-pressure region (ND) into a high-pressure region (HD) injectors (5) for metering the fuel from the high-pressure region (HD) into combustion chambers (6) of the internal combustion engine with the injectors (5) being drivable in dependence upon operating characteristic variables, and the pressure sensor (7) for measuring the pressure in the high-pressure region (HD). To calibrate the pressure sensor (7) so that the offset error is minimized, it is suggested that a pressure, which is present in the high-pressure region (HD), is applied as a reference pressure; that the pressure, which is present in the high-pressure region (HD), is measured as the sensor pressure by the pressure sensor (7); and, that the characteristic line of the pressure sensor (7) is so corrected that the difference of reference pressure and sensor pressure is minimized.
