    摘要: A corrosion resistance test method for a coated metal material that includes a metal base and a surface treatment film, includes the steps of: disposing one or more water-containing material holders each holding a water-containing material to be in contact with the surface treatment film and one or more electrodes to be in contact with the water-containing material, and electrically connecting, with an external circuit, between the one electrode and the metal base, or between the electrodes; and supplying a current between the one electrode and the metal base, or between at least one of the electrodes and at least one of the other electrodes, as an anode and a cathode, to bring corrosion of the coated metal material to progress. The water-containing material has a viscosity at 65° C. of 10 mPa·s or more to 40 mPa·s or less.

    摘要: A physical property evaluation method is the method for evaluating physical properties of a film-shaped measurement target object by means of an electrochemical method, the method including the step of causing an electrolytic solution to contact a front surface of the measurement target object. The speed of penetration of the electrolytic solution into the measurement target object is adjusted in such a manner that the levels of the front-side temperature and the back-side temperature of the measurement target object and a difference between the front-side temperature and the back-side temperature of the measurement target object are adjusted.

    摘要: A heat-insulating layer exhibiting high resistance to cracks, peeling, deformation, and gasoline and high heat insulation is obtained on the wall surface of an engine member (19). First, a heat insulator layer including a silicone-based resin and hollow particles containing a Si-based oxide is formed on a wall surface of the engine member (19). Then, Si-based oxide is produced through oxidation of a silicone-based resin in at least part of the surface of the heat insulator layer by heating the surface of the heat insulator layer. Thereafter, a catalytic metal is added to the silicone-based resin in the surface of the heat insulator layer and/or Si-based oxide derived from the hollow particles. Using the catalytic metal as nuclei, electroless plating is performed. In this manner, a heat-insulating layer (21) in which the surface of the heat-insulating film (27) is covered with a plating film (29) is obtained.
