The hot site is cooled by a cooling duct, through which cooling water is flowing. To optimize the cooling of the hot site, an additional flow channel is provided, for a concerted flow of cooling water and for carrying additional cooling water in the cooling duct and for cooling of the hot site in the wall of the cylinder head.

    摘要: A cooling circuit arrangement for a multicylinder internal combustion engine with V-shaped cylinder banks and cooling jackets which surround the cylinder banks and which are provided with cooling liquid by a pump arranged between the two cylinder banks on one of their face sides is disclosed. The pressure-sided connection of the coolant pump, arranged on the one face side of the two cylinder banks, is connected by a coolant pipe to a distributor pipe, arranged on the other face side of the cylinder banks, for the purpose of feeding cooling liquid. A return flow chamber for the coolant from the cooling jackets is arranged between the two cylinder banks adjacent to the pump housing. In this manner the space, existing between the two cylinder banks, is utilized for a part of the coolant arrangement so that the internal combustion engine exhibits a compact design.

    摘要: An oil pump of an internal-combustion engine supplies dirty oil through a vertically extending oil feeding duct into a ring duct of an oil filter flange. From there, the oil flows through the oil filter and a central bore into a main oil duct. Since the oil feeding duct leads into the ring duct above the central bore, and the main oil duct extends above the central bore, the filter oil level, will not fall under the level of the dirty-oil inlet into the ring duct when the engine is switched off. A complete emptying of the oil filter is therefore prevented when the engine is switched off, and a fast oil pressure buildup is promoted when the engine is started again.

A first stroke curve and a second stroke curve of the stroke profile are contoured both in the axial direction and in the radial direction such that the contour in the axial direction of the stroke profile of the camshaft is responsible for a defined axial displacement of the associated cam, and the contour in the radial direction of the stroke profile of the camshaft prevents the stroke curves from colliding.

    摘要: An opposed-cylinder internal-combustion engine, includes a cylinder block and crankcase which is longitudinally divided in the center of the crankshaft bearing. A bearing support is connected with the crankcase by way of cylinder head bolts. The cylinder block and crankcase has a joint vertical junction plane with the bearing support. Both bearing support halves are, on the one hand, connected with one another by way of bearing block screws and, on the other hand, the bearing support is held by way lo of cylinder head bolts between the crankcase halves arranged at both sides of the bearing support while forming oil ducts. At the same time, cylinder heads can be fastened on the crankcase by way of the screws.
