摘要: A solar battery has a pair of opposed light incident transparent electroconductive and back electrodes sandwiching amorphous silicon layers formed on a substrate with at least a major surface of the back electrode surface being in contact with an organic resin layer and being made of a compound of a transition metal and silicon, a compound of a transition metal and nitrogen, or a compound of a transition metal and carbon. Excellent corrosion resistance of the back electrode is obtained and the battery has high performance and high reliability.

摘要: An implosion-protected cathode-ray tube has a bulb and a metallic band tightly binding the front outer peripheral portion of the bulb to suppress the occurrence of accidental implosion of the bulb during the manufacturing processes including a heating and evacuation process and a rapid cooling process after the heating and evacuation process as well as after the manufacture of the cathode-ray tube. The material forming the metallic band and the size of the metallic band meet the following conditions: i) the thermal expansion coefficient .alpha..sub.s of the material is not less than the thermal expansion coefficient .alpha..sub.g of the glass forming the bulb; ii) a value expressed by: L(1+.alpha..sub.s..delta.t), where L is the inner perimeter of the metallic band at the ambient temperature when the tightened metal band is removed from the bulb and where .alpha.t is the temperature differential between the ambient temperature and a temperature for a heating and evacuation process, is smaller than the perimeter of the front outer peripheral portion of the bulb on which the metallic band is shrunk, during the heating and evacuation process, and iii) a stress corresponding to the yield point of the material of the metallic band remains in the metallic band at the ambient temperature.

摘要: A color cathode ray tube has an electron gun, a phosphor screen, and a shadow mask closely spaced from the phosphor screen. The shadow mask has plural strips extending in a direction perpendicular to a horizontal scanning direction of electron beams emitted from the electron gun and plural bridge portions connecting adjacent ones among the plural strips. The shadow mask is formed with an aperture area having plural slot-shaped electron beam apertures therein. The shadow mask is provided with at least one wire held under tension in the extending direction of the plural strips so as to be superposed on a surface of one of the plural strips in the aperture area. The surface of the one of the plural strips is a surface of the one of the plural strips facing the electron gun.

摘要: A two-component curable solventless adhesive which enables a laminated composite film comprising a barrier layer and a plastic film laminated with each other to maintain excellent appearance and adhesive strength for a long period even after a sterilization treatment at high temperature, and to appropriately adjust a reaction between a base resin and a curing agent during a production of the laminated composite film. The two-component curable solventless adhesive comprises a base resin and a curing agent, wherein the base resin contains a polyol having an acid group and a secondary or tertiary terminal hydroxyl group accounting for 30% or more of the entire terminal hydroxyl groups of the polyol, and the curing agent contains an isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer containing at least an aralkyl polyisocyanate and/or a modified substance thereof as a raw polyisocyanate, and a content of a low molecular weight polyisocyanate is defined.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a printed circuit board is provided. The method includes preliminarily forming a plurality of test pattern layers for detecting the depth of an inner layer in a multilayer printed circuit board such that at least a part of a lower test pattern layer is not overlaid with any upper test pattern layer when viewed from a drill entrance side, and preliminarily forming a surface conductor layer; applying a voltage between the surface conductor layer and the test pattern layers; performing drilling toward one test pattern layer, and detecting a current produced when the drill comes into contact with the test pattern to measure the depth of the layer (D1); performing drilling toward the other test pattern layer, and measuring the depth of the layer (D2); and performing drilling up to just before the conductor-wiring layer based on a depth calculated from D1 and D2.

The agricultural chemical composition comprises (A) a herbicidal compound selected from the group consisting of sulfonylurea compounds, sulfonamide compounds, chloroacetanilide compounds, thiocarbamate compounds, pyrimidinyloxy(thio)benzoic acid compounds, tetrazolinone compounds, pyrazole compounds, cyclohexanedione compounds, phenoxycarboxylic acid compounds, oxazinone compounds, and difluoromethanesulfonylanilide compounds or salts thereof and (B) a compound selected among benzoic acid compounds.
