    摘要: A fire retardant polyester resin composition comprising (A) 95 to 30 parts by weight of a polyester resin and (B) 5.0 to 70 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin and/or polyphenylene sulfide resin, and, for 100 parts by weight in total of the components (A) and (B), (C) 0.05 to 10 parts by weight of a compatibilizing agent, (D) 2.0 to 45 parts by weight of a phosphoric ester compound or phosphonitrile compound, (E) 0 to 150 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler, (F) 0.001 to 15 parts by weight of an anti-dripping agent, (G) 0 to 45 parts by weight of a melamine cyanurate, and (H) 0 to 15 parts by weight of a polystyrene resin having epoxy group, provided that the amount of the component (G) is from 0.5 to 45 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight in total of the components (A) and (B) when the amount of the component (B) is less than 35 parts by weight. The polyester resin composition scarcely corrodes a metal mold when it is molded, and is excellent in fire retardancy.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method for screening a substance having a thermogenesis enhancing effect containing a compound having an effect activating PPARδ, an agent containing the compound, and an agent having antidiabetic, antiobestic or visceral accumulated fat-lowering function.The present invention provides an agent containing a compound having an effect activating PPARδ, which is a peroxisome proliferator activated receptor, and having effects which enhances nonshivering thermogenesis (nST), specifically enhances uncoupling respiration in mitochondria of cells in an adipose tissue or the like, or proton leak in inner membranes of mitochondria, and increases the amount of expression of UCP1, and provides an antidiabetic agent, an antiobestic gent and a visceral accumulated fat-lowering agent containing the compound. Further, the present invention provides a method for screening the compound by measuring a PPARδ activating effect.

    摘要: In a vertical double-diffused MOSFET comprising a semiconductor substrate of a first conductivity type, an epitaxial layer of the first conductivity type, and a gate insulating layer, a gate electrode coats the gate insulating layer. The gate electrode has a plurality of polygonal shaped opening windows and at least one slit shaped opening window. Each polygonal shaped opening window has a center positioned on each of lattice points of a two-dimensional square lattice comprising a plurality of unit cells. Each slit shaped opening window is laid on a straight line connecting two centers of two polygonal shaped opening windows which are obliquely adjacent to one another. A first insulating layer is formed on an upper surface of the gate electrode. Second insulating layers are formed on side walls of the gate electrode. A base region of a second conductivity type having a base junction depth is formed in the surface of the epitaxial layer. The base region is self-aligned to the polygonal shaped opening windows and the slit shaped opening window. A source region of the first conduction type has a source junction depth shallower than the base junction depth. The source region has an inner edge self-aligned to both of the polygonal shaped opening windows and the slit shaped opening window and an inner edge spaced apart from the polygonal shaped open windows at a predetermined width.
