    摘要: Improved operability and economy of a nuclear reactor can be obtained by attaining a mixing of the flows of coolant in the lower plenum of the fuel assemblies of the nuclear reactor, a high flow stability of the two-phase flow in the fuel assemblies and a small pressure loss in the core. To achieve this, there is provided a coolant guide tube 60 that communicates with the inside of the fuel support piece 12 inserted in the control rod guide tube and the passage 16, wherein there is formed a coolant guide passage 61 along which coolant descends in the area outside of the coolant guide tube in the fuel assemblies from opening 79. The coolant guide passage along which the coolant descends from the opening is formed in an area outside of the coolant guide tube in the fuel support piece.

    摘要: In a passive type EL display apparatus having a matrix structure, column electrodes include first column electrodes (211) corresponding to pixels at odd rows and second column electrodes (212) corresponding to pixels at even rows. The first and second column electrodes are individually driven by respective first and second column drivers (22, 23), while a row driver (21) drives pixels located at odd and even rows adjoining in the column direction, namely row electrodes corresponding to these pixels simultaneously, to thereby execute simultaneous display for one set of odd and even rows. An resulting EL display apparatus can provide reliable display with a small scale circuit without using frame buffers for temporarily storing data to be displayed.

    摘要: A laser marking device for forming the pattern printed on a liquid crystal mask on the surface of an object. In the laser marking device, an input optical system (20) and an output optical system (30) are positioned on the input surface side of a reflective liquid crystal element (5) on which the laser beam (L) is made to fall through the input optical system (20). The angle of incident of the laser beam (L) on the input surface of the element (5) is approximately 90.degree.. The laser beam (L) reflected by the element (5) is directed to the object (15) through the optical system (30). A cooling means (17) which cools the element (5) is provided in contact with the surface of the element (5) opposite to the surface which the laser beam strikes. In such a way, the space for the optical systems (20) and (30) is reduced. The space occupied by the cooling means (17) is reduced and the cooling efficiency and cooling uniformity of the means (17) are improved because the means (17) is in direct contact with the element (5).
