Abstract:
A load adjustment device is provided with a throttle valve (9) which determines the output power of an internal combustion engine and is connected, fixed for rotation, to a throttle-valve shaft (32) which is mounted in the throttle valve housing (30). The throttle-valve shaft (32) has an accelerator-pedal-side, mechanical articulation side and a setting-motor-articulation-side, with which there is associated a coupling element for the mechanical uncoupling of the throttle valve from an electric motor (14), as well as means for reporting the instantaneous position of a throttle-valve lever (21) arranged on the throttle-valve shaft (32) and of a driver element (25) to an electronic control device (17). The report device has a first transmission member which is arranged fixed for rotation on the throttle-valve shaft (32) and cooperates with a first potentiometer (23) as well as a second transmission member which is mounted for free rotation on the throttle-valve shaft (32) and cooperates with a second potentiometer (24). All parts of the device for the reporting are arranged in a dust-protected housing ( 36) so that a very compact arrangement is obtained.
Abstract:
A load adjustment device is provided with a throttle valve (9) which determines the output of an internal combustion engine and is fastened, fixed for rotation, to a throttle-valve shaft (32), which is mounted in a throttle-valve housing (30). In idle operation, the throttle-valve shaft (32) is adjusted by an electric motor (14) and a four-link gearing (16) connected behind it. This includes a pinion (14) which is arranged on an output shaft of the electric motor (14) and meshes with a gear segment (50) which is connected for drive via a second link (53) to a rotor (54) which drives the throttle-valve shaft (32). Due to the advantageous arrangement of the four-link gearing (16), a very large transmission ratio can be achieved between the output shaft (40) of the electric motor 14 and the throttle-valve shaft (32), so that a very small, cost-efficient electric motor is sufficient.
Abstract:
A load adjustment device is provided having a throttle valve which determines the output of an internal combustion engine and is connected, fixed for rotation, to a throttle-valve shaft (32) which is mounted in a throttle-valve-shaft housing (30). The shaft has an acceleration-pedal side mechanical articulation side (33) and a setting-motor articulation side (34) with which there is associated a coupling element (45) for the mechanical uncoupling of the throttle-valve shaft from the setting motor within a defined angular region of the throttle valve; furthermore, a device is provided for reporting the instantaneous position of the coupling element to an electronic control device. In order, in the case of such a two-sided control of the throttle valve, to permit a structurally simple report of the position of the electric setting motor to the accelerator-pedal-side articulation side, the throttle-valve shaft is developed as a tube and the reporting device has a pass-through shaft (48) which passes through the throttle-valve shaft, a first transmission member (49) which is connected, fixed for rotation, with the pass-through shaft and the coupling element on the setting-motor articulation side and, on the accelerator-pedal-side articulation side, a second transfer member (50) which is connected, fixed for rotation, with the pass-through shaft and which cooperates with an actual-value detection device (18) associated with the control device.
Abstract:
In this air induction module, the induction pipe has two separate induction pipe bodies (1, 2) with induction pipe sections that, together, form the induction pipes. The second induction pipe body (2), which can be attached to the cylinder head of the combustion engine, contains, in its induction pipe sections, a pulse charging valve (3) with an associated actuator. In addition to the pulse charging valves, the control electronics thereof can be integrated in the air induction module.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to compounds defined by formula I wherein the groups R1 to R3, X, m, n and o are defined as in claim 1, possessing valuable pharmacological activity. Particularly the compounds are inhibitors of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (HSD) 1 and thus are suitable for treatment and prevention of diseases which can be influenced by inhibition of this enzyme, such as metabolic diseases, in particular diabetes type 2, obesity and dyslipidemia.
Abstract:
In a venting arrangement for an internal combustion engine having a cylinder head with an intake duct structure consisting of plastic material and including intake passages, an inlet stub for connection to a vent pipe, and an outlet for communication with the intake passages, the intake duct structure includes a passage with a metal sleeve and a bolt extending through the metal sleeve for mounting the intake duct structure to the cylinder head while firmly engaging the metal sleeve with the cylinder head and a throttle structure which limits the vent flow from the inlet stub to the outlet intake ducts is formed in the passage adjacent the metal sleeve so as to be heated by the metal sleeve.

Abstract:
A device for adjusting the loading motion of the intake air in internal combustion engines comprises a housing, which can be connected between an intake module and a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, the surface of the housing facing the intake module having at least a first opening with a first inlet channel for a cylinder of the internal combustion engine and at least a second opening with a second inlet channel for the same cylinder of the internal combustion engine. Each second opening is provided with a helical valve that can be controlled by an actuator.
Abstract:
On an intake pipe (1) developed for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle which leads to an air filter housing (3), there is arranged on the outside on the intake pipe (1) a housing (11) containing an engine-control electronics. The housing (11) has a bottom (13) which is cooled by the stream of air in the intake pipe (1). In this way, despite the great closeness of the internal combustion engine, sufficient cooling is obtained of the electronic structural parts of the engine-control electronics.
