摘要： Process for the production of semiconductor devices comprising the steps of applying a solution of the specified polycarbosilane in a solvent onto a substrate having electrically conductive components fabricated therein, and curing the coated layer of the polycarbosilane at a temperature of not less than 350.degree. C. in an oxidizing atmosphere to thereby covert the polycarbosilane layer to a silicon oxide layer. The resulting silicon oxide layer has a planarized surface and has no cracking and accordingly is useful as a dielectric layer and a protective layer in the production of semiconductor devices having a high reliability.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for increasing and/or monitoring a party's compliance with a schedule for taking medicines. In a first embodiment, a method is provided for use by a first container that is adapted to store a first medicine. The method includes storing information regarding the first medicine and wirelessly communicating a signal between the first container and a second container adapted to store a second medicine. In a second embodiment, a method is provided that includes determining if a first container for storing a first medicine is positioned so as to wirelessly communicate with a second container for storing a second medicine. The method further includes generating data based at least in part on whether the first container is positioned so as to wirelessly communicate with the second container. In a third embodiment, a method is provided that includes receiving a signal and, based at least in part on the received signal, determining whether a first container for storing a first medicine was positioned so as to wirelessly communicate with a second container for storing a second medicine. In a fourth embodiment, a method is provided that includes receiving a signal from a device that monitors whether a first container for storing a first medicine and a second container for storing a second medicine are positioned so as to communicate. The method further includes determining if at least one party has complied with a schedule for taking the first medicine and the second medicine based at least in part on the received signal. Systems, apparatus and computer program products are provided for carrying out the above-described embodiments and numerous other embodiments.

The task is associated with a subsidy provider other than the merchant. The method also includes providing the offer to the customer, receiving the security deposit, applying the benefit to the transaction before performance of the task, and returning at least a portion of the security deposit to the customer based on the performance of the task. For example, a subsidy provider may offer to apply a subsidy amount to a transaction involving the purchase of a lawn mower in exchange for a future performance of a task by the customer such as test driving a new car. It is also arranged for the customer to provide a security deposit. When the customer performs the task by test driving the car, arrangements are then made to return at least a portion of the security deposit to the customer.

摘要： A system and method is disclosed whereby a customer involved in a transaction is offered a benefit to be applied to the transaction in exchange for undertaking or agreeing to undertake some form of preventative treatment. The transaction may be a purchase of goods or services occurring, for example, over the Internet. In one embodiment, the customer may select an option whereby a third party, such as an insurer of the customer, will provide payment for at least part of the transaction, in exchange for the customer undergoing a preventative treatment. The preventative treatment may include a health treatment screening or test. The payment provided may be determined from an expected future savings in insuring the customer if the preventative treatment is undertaken. Payment may also be conditioned upon the customer's agreement to continue his or her insurance coverage with the insurer or to confirm that the preventative treatment was performed. In certain embodiments, the insurer may place a hold against a financial account for the value of the benefit until administration of the preventative treatment is confirmed.
