摘要: An improved intake equipment, in which the formation of a liquid fuel film due to deflection of the fuel can be avoided, has a plurality of independent air intake pipes connected to a combustion chamber, for introducing air thereto, collectors connected to the independent air intake pipes, for distributing the introduced air into them, and a throttle valve connected to the collectors, for controlling the amount of air flow. A fuel supplying mechanism is provided on a wall of the independent intake pipes, for supplying fuel to the air and mixing the air and fuel, and a deflection mechanism is provided for deflecting the air flow of the independent intake pipes so as to avoid undersirable deflective of the fuel.

摘要: An air intake system for an internal combustion engine uniformly distributes the fuel-air mixture in the cylinder, and concentrates the mixture in the vicinity of an ignition plug in the cylinder by selecting the direction of supply of sprayed fuel, thereby improving ignitability of the mixture at the time of lean-burn operation. The system produces tumble flow in the cylinder for accelerating combustion and provides lean-burn operation, thereby suppressing consumption of the fuel and reducing the amount of exhaust gas. The fuel is injected by a fuel injection valve and collides with an intake valve, before being atomized. The atomized fuel flows into the cylinder from the side of the intake valve closer to the fuel injection valve. On the other hand, high-velocity air flow from bypass passages enters the cylinder from the side of the intake valve closer to the ignition plug, so as to produce tumble flow in the cylinder.

摘要: A carburetor for an internal combustion engine including a main suction conduit having a control throttle and a starting suction conduit having an on-off valve and opening at one end in a portion of the main suction conduit disposed downstream of the control throttle, wherein a main fuel passage and a main air bleed passage having a main air bleed for the main fuel passage are provided for the main suction conduit. A communication passage is provided to communicate a portion of the starting suction conduit disposed upstream of the on-off valve with a portion of the main air bleed passage disposed upstream of the main air bleed. By this arrangement, when the throttle valve is opened to accelerate the engine before it is completely warmed up after being started, the suction pressure from the starting suction conduit is transmitted through the communication passage to the upstream side of the main air bleed passage whereby the fuel-air mixture supplied through the main suction conduit to the engine can be enriched substantially at a uniform rate.

摘要: An electromagnetic fuel injector for internal combustion engines comprises a yoke containing a coil and cores; a cylinder secured to the yoke and therein forming a nozzle, a valve seat, a valve guide bore, and a plurality of fine fuel passages formed between the valve seat and the termination of the valve guide bore; a ball valve connected to a plunger with flange and inserted slidably in said valve guide bore; a holder of a dense material mounted at one end on the cylinder with a little gap therebetween and with a O-ring being pressed in the radial direction, and secured fluid-tightly at the other end to the yoke thereby to define an annular fuel reservoir around the cylinder. A pair of fuel pipes are connected to the holder. Further, a cap is mounted in the front of the holder to jet fuel from the nozzle whereby fuel is atomized.

摘要: A carburetor comprises, in addition to an ordinary carburetor arrangement, a suction system for starting use including a starter throttle valve and fuel metering means which are both controllable for opening and closing and for metering function by a temperature-sensing control member or members. 摘要: A fuel evaporating device including: a heating surface which is adapted to enhance the complete evaporation of fuel to be fed to an engine and located in such a position within an air-intake pipe which facilitates the contact of fuel with said heating surface, with its back surface being in contact with an exhaust pipe; and control means having a path leading through said heating surface and a path which bypasses said heating surface, whereby said control means is operated commensurate to operating factors such as a pressure variation in the air intake pipe and the like to control the flow rate of exhaust gas flowing in contact with said heating surface, thus maintaining said heating surface at a temperature optimum for the evaporation of fuel.

摘要: A fuel inlet opens at one end between a valve seat and an inner surface of a valve housing on which a globe valve slides. The other end of the fuel inlet opens to an external surface of the valve housing. The fuel inlet runs almost in the direction of a central axis of the globe valve so as to prevent the formation of vortex flow around the globe valve. A spiral member is pressure fitted inside the valve housing immediately downstream of the valve seat with the spiral member being formed as a rod with a spiral fuel groove to swirl the fuel along the groove. An outlet orifice for fuel metering is formed immediately downstream of and as near as possible to the spiral member.
