    摘要: An X-ray apparatus including an X-ray source, a rotation mechanism which rotates the X-ray source about a rotational axis, and an X-ray detector having a plurality of detection elements. A blocking member defining a slit structure is provided between the X-ray source and the X-ray detector. The slits of the blocking member include two rows aligned in a channel direction of the detector elements, and two rows staggered in the channel direction, thereby to obtain a CT image with improved spatial resolution. Alternatively, instead of using a blocking member, some of the detection elements of at least one detection segment are staggered in the channel direction with respect to detection elements of another detection segment.

    摘要: An X-ray computed tomography apparatus is provided to reconstruct image data based on projection data acquired by scanning a subject with an X-ray. A calculator is configured to calculate a dose efficiency index based on an expected dose of an X-ray radiated from an input device. The dose efficiency index indicates a diameter of a target which is identified at a predetermined detectability rate and has a predetermined CT value difference with respect to a surrounding CT value. A plan support system is configured to build up a scan planning screen on which the input expected dose is contained along with the calculated dose efficiency index. The scan planning screen is displayed on a display.

    摘要: In an X-ray computerized tomography apparatus, a water phantom is interposed between an X-ray tube unit and an X-ray detector in place of a subject under examination and a plurality of pieces of data detected by a plurality of X-ray detector elements are previously measured as a pieces of compensation data while shifting the X-focal point to different positions. Compensation data corresponding to the actual position of the X-ray focal point, which shifts according to the thermal state of the X-ray tube unit, is selected to correct detect data obtained for a subject under examination, permitting optimum compensation of variations in sensitivity among the X-ray detector elements for any position of the X-ray focal point, thereby preventing a ring-like artifact from being produced on a tomography image.

A pair of magnetic core blocks with magnetic gaps formed in butt surfaces thereof are slit and comb-toothed to produce a pair of head element couplers, and such element couplers are joined to each other in a state where the comb-toothed portions of one coupler are inserted into the slits in the other coupler while the respective coupling portions are butted to each other, whereby the in-line precision of the magnetic gaps can be enhanced.

    摘要: An X-ray CT apparatus and image controlling method thereof that achieves a higher time resolution tomography image on a region of interest (ROI) of an object while reducing a total amount of X-ray irradiation exposure. The X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source for irradiating X-rays over an object, a multi-slice detector provided facing to the X-ray source for acquiring wide range projection data by a first helical scan, a wide range projection data memory unit for storing the wide range projection data, and a narrow range projection data memory unit for storing the narrow range projection data of a designated region of interest (ROI) only. A controlling method for the X-ray CT apparatus acquires narrow range projection data by a second scan on the ROI along a slice direction and generates compounded projection data based on the narrow range projection data and the wide range projection data. The method generates images based on the compounded projection data.
