摘要: A composition of an oil-soluble ionic detergent that does not contribute metal ions to the composition, and which comprises a quaternary non-metallic pnictogen cation and an organic anion having at least one hydrocarbyl group of sufficient length to impart oil solubility to the detergent, the detergent having a total base number (TBN) to total acid number (TAN) ratio of at least 2:1 imparts ash-free basicity to a lubricant composition.

摘要: The invention provides a lubricating composition containing (a) a polymer derived from greater than 50 wt % or more of a non-diene monomer, wherein the polymer has a weight average molecular weight of about 2000 to about 200,000, and wherein the polymer has a shear stability index of about 0 to about 25; (b) a phosphorus-containing acid, salt, or ester; (c) an extreme pressure agent, other than a phosphorus-containing acid, salt, or ester; and (d) an oil of lubricating viscosity. The invention further provides a method for lubricating a mechanical device with the lubricating composition.

摘要: The refrigerating machine oil of the present invention contains a mineral oil whose nitrogen content is not more than 50 ppm by mass and whose percent in aromatic ring structures (% CA) is from 5 to 25. With the refrigerating machine oil of the present invention, high levels of lubricity, stability, and miscibility with refrigerants are attained, with a good balance between these, so refrigerating and air conditioning machines can be operated stably over a longer period.

摘要: The invention relates to lubricant compositions which contain (1) specific organometallic compounds, or (2) a specific organometallic compound and an ashless sulfur compound, or (3) an organomolybdenum compound and an ashless sulfur compound having a specific group, or (4) a specific organometallic compound and a phosphorus compound, or (5) an organonickel compound, or (6) a specific organometallic compound. The lubricant compositions of the invention not only can impart far higher load bearing properties and extreme-pressure properties than conventional ones to members to which the compositions are applied, but also show an excellent lubricating performance at high temperatures.

摘要: A hydraulic working oil composition for buffers which comprises a lubricating oil as a base oil, (A) a phosphoric acid ester such as dioleyl acid phosphate and/or a phosphorous acid ester such as dioleyl hydrogen phophite, and (B) an adduct of an aliphatic amine such as oleyl amine with an alkylene oxide such as ethylene oxide, the compounds (A) and (B) being the essential components added to said base oil; and, in one embodiment, a process for lubricating buffers which comprises adding said compounds (A) and (B) to said base oil to prepare a hydraulic working oil composition and using the thus prepared oil composition in buffers.
