摘要: A fuel filter device includes a bag-shape filter body and a space forming member disposed in the filter body. The filter body includes an upper surface part, and a lower surface part welded with the upper surface part at edges to form a bag shape. At least the lower surface part has a woven mesh outer layer part, a first inner layer part situated adjacent to the outer layer part and formed of a melt blown non-woven cloth, and a second inner layer part situated adjacent to the first inner layer part at a side opposite to the outer layer part. The second inner layer part is formed of a spun-bonded non-woven cloth. The upper surface part and the lower surface part are all made of polypropylene that is not soaked and swollen with fuel to thereby maintain a mesh size of the filter body without change.

摘要: A rotary damper includes a housing having an annular groove with an inlet portion, and a rotor having a main annular portion to be inserted into the annular groove and a cap portion attached at one side of the main annular portion. The main annular portion is inserted into the annular groove to form a space therein so that the cap portion closes the annular groove. A plurality of sealing members is situated on inner and outer sides of the main annular portion for sealing the space, and a viscous fluid is filled in the space. An engaging shoulder portion is provided on one of the housing and rotor, and an engaging portion is provided on the other of the housing and rotor for engaging said engaging shoulder portion.

摘要: In a control system for controlling a clutch coupled with an internal combustion engine for driving a vehicle off, the control operation for clutch engagement is carried out based on the level of power insufficiency of the engine. When the level of engine insufficiency is within a predetermined range, the operation for clutch engagement is controlled in accordance with the change in the amount of operation of an accelerating member without stopping the engaging operation of the clutch. In order to improve the performance experienced by the operator at drive-off, just after recovery from power insufficiency, the target clutch stroke to be followed is corrected by correction data determined on the basis of the difference between the target and actual clutch stroke at the time the engine has just recovered from its power insufficiency.

摘要: A backup acceleration signal generator for vehicles having, for example, an automatic transmission operating in response to a signal indicating the amount of acceleration, has a signal generator for producing a backup operation. The backup signal is too small to start the control operation for starting the vehicle and is applied to the automatic transmission in accordance with the braking condition of the vehicle or the operating condition of the automatic transmission. The apparatus supplies the backup signal to the automatic transmission when braking power is applied to the vehicle or the vehicle is in the parked condition, so that the vehicle is prevented from starting automatically when the backup operation starts due to the occurrence of an abnormality of the acceleration signal.

摘要: A synthetic resin rivet comprises a rivet body having a hollow cylindrical portion and an integral flange portion extending radially outwardly from the upper end of the cylindrical portion and a pin for radially expanding the cylindrical portion of the rivet body when inserted thereinto. The rivet body has a double-layer structure constituted by two different synthetic resins, one relatively hard and the other relatively soft. At least an outer layer of the cylindrical portion and a cap layer closing an end opening of the cylindrical portion is fabricated from the soft synthetic resin so as to provide reliably effective annular sealing defined between the cylindrical portion of the rivet and the interior peripheral surfaces of the holes defined within panels within which the rivet is to be disposed. In addition, the cap portion is radially expanded so as to achieve plastic deformation and thereby prevent radial contraction of the soft resin cylindrical portion of the rivet which would otherwise degrade the effective sealing property thereof.

摘要: A fuel valve includes an upper chamber communicating with a ventilation passage of a canister; a lower chamber to be disposed inside a fuel tank; a communicating port between the upper chamber and the lower chamber; and a float member disposed in the lower chamber for blocking the communicating port when fuel flows into the lower chamber. The lower chamber includes a one-way valve formed at a bottom thereof for allowing the fuel to flow out only through the one-way valve, and a fuel inlet formed in a side wall of the lower chamber. When a fuel level inside the fuel tank reaches the main fuel inlet, the fuel flows into the lower chamber to raise the float member. As a result, an internal pressure of the fuel tank increases, so that a sensor at a fueling nozzle side can detect that the fuel tank is filled-up.
