    Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a light emitting element; a wavelength conversion member including: a wavelength conversion portion arranged on or above an upper surface of the light emitting element, and a light-transmissive portion, wherein, in a plan view, the light-transmissive portion surrounds at least one or more lateral surfaces of the wavelength conversion portion; a sealing member comprising a lens portion that is arranged on or above an upper surface of the wavelength conversion member; and a light reflection member that surrounds one or more lateral surfaces of the wavelength conversion member. In a plan view, the wavelength conversion member is inside a perimeter of the lens portion.

    Abstract: A light emitting device includes: a support member; a light emitting element mounted on the support member; a wavelength conversion member arranged on or above the light emitting element and that is larger than the light emitting element in a plan view, the wavelength conversion member including: a wavelength conversion portion that is arranged on or above the light emitting element, and a light-transmissive portion; a light reflection member that is spaced away from a side surface of the wavelength conversion member and a side surface the light emitting element and arranged on or above the support member, and surrounds the light-transmissive portion; and a light-transmissive member that is arranged between the light reflection member and the side surface of the light emitting element, and is in contact with a part of the light-transmissive portion of the wavelength conversion member and the side surface of the light emitting element.
