    摘要: A laser machining apparatus with a simplified laser beam transmitting network. Respective laser beams form laser generators LS#11 to LS#25 divided into groups of G1 and G2 are aggregated to fiber-optic cables H1 and H2 by confluence devices HC1 and HC2 and transmitted to a most upstream laser beam outlet OP1. The laser beams are further aggregated to a fiber-optic cable H3 and distributed to a branch fiber-optic cable HH1 by the laser beam outlet OP1, and then distributed by laser beam outlet OP2 to OP8 to branch fiber-optic cables HH2 to HH8. The laser beams distributed to branch fiber-optic cables are focused by the machining tools TL1 to TL8 attached to robots RB1 to RB8 for laser machining. By controlling output levels of the laser generators with different oscillation wavelengths and different polarization characteristics, blend ratio of the laser beams can be adjusted. Distribution ratios of the laser beams at the laser beam outlets OP1 to OP8 are adjustable.

    摘要: A plurality of laser generators are provided to be environmentally separated from a machining station, and temperature, humidity, vibration, cleanliness and the like are detected by a sensor, and displayed. When an abnormal environment is detected, machining operation is stopped immediately or after a predetermined time elapsed. The laser generators are grouped according to each machining tool, and fiber-optic cable switching devices FC3 and FC4 are arranged for each group. By the switchover of the laser generator, and the selective connection of a fiber-optic cable by using the fiber-optic cable switching device, the degree of freedom in selecting the laser generator and the fiber-optic cable is produced. The degree of freedom is utilized according to the abnormality of the laser generator, the abnormality of the fiber-optic cable, the type of machining work, and the like, by which a machining apparatus in which the occurrence of a partial failure does not lead to long-term shutdown of a manufacturing line can be obtained.

    摘要: A laser oscillator device applies a high-frequency voltage to a plurality of discharge regions through a dielectric for producing a high-frequency discharge for laser pumping. The laser oscillator device has current detectors (CT2a, CT2b) for detecting currents flowing from high-frequency power supplies (26a, 26b) into discharge tubes (1). The current detectors are disposed in positions to detect mutual currents between the adjacent discharge tubes. The currents detected by the current detectors (CT2a, CT2b) are used as feedback currents for preventing uncontrollable conditions of the currents due to a coupling current. The laser oscillator device also has a mechanism for preventing interference in the discharge regions.

    摘要: A laser oscillator device applies a high-frequency voltage to a plurality of discharge regions through a dielectric for producing a high-frequency discharge for laser pumping. The laser oscillator device includes a DC power supply (16), and a high-frequency power supply (18, 19, 20, 21) for converting a DC voltage into a high-frequency voltage. The DC power supply (16) and the high-frequency power supply (18, 19, 20, 21) are coupled to each other by a filter (30). The filter (30) prevents a high-frequency component from being fed back from the high-frequency power supply (18, 19, 20, 21) to prevent the laser oscillator device from operating unstably due to parasitic oscillation. Other arrangements are disclosed for preventing interference between the high-frequency power supply and the DC power supply.

    摘要: A solid-state laser oscillating device which is inexpensive and capable of obtaining a high power. A plurality of laser crystals (YAG laser crystals, etc.) (1a, 1b, 1c) are arranged along the optical axis of an optical resonator so as to maintain optical contact with one another. Adjacent ones of the laser crystals have surfaces facing each other with an adhesive layer (10, 20) interposed therebetween, to form an array in a straight-line as a whole. An adhesive having a low light absorbance with respect to a laser beam of oscillation wavelength or an excitation light is used for forming the adhesive layers (10, 20). If the refractive index of the adhesive is substantially equal to that of the laser crystals, optical matching is achieved. The adhesive layers (10, 20) may be replaced by some other transparent material. The adjacent laser crystals may be arranged with a narrow gap therebetween or held in surface contact with each other.

    摘要: An output waveform control device generates a pulse wave by processing waveform data from a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) unit and delivers the pulse wave for pulsed oscillation of a laser beam. The waveform data transferred from the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) unit is input to a duration-allocating device provided within a laser oscillator. The duration-allocating device of the laser oscillator allocates a duration .DELTA.T, set to a desired value, to each step of the waveform data W. The durations .DELTA.T are allocated in a shorter-to-longer order, and the resulting waveform data is transferred to a pulse wave-generating device. The pulse wave-generating device generates a pulse wave P1 based on the received waveform data W. The pulse wave P1 thus generated is preferably includes 20 pulse segments, each of which has a duration .DELTA.T allocated thereto which can vary from one segment to another. Accordingly, each pulse segment of the pulse wave P1 has a duration set as desired, and the pulse wave duration .SIGMA..DELTA.T as a total of the durations .DELTA.T, can be set as desired. This makes it possible to carry out laser beam machining in a suitable manner dependent on the type of machining.

The device comprises a teaching box (20) for teaching NC commands, a sensor (43) for detecting the distance between the distal end of a nozzle and a work, a control apparatus (10) which includes command storage apparatus for storing the NC commands, NC command execution apparatus for executing the NC commands, tracing apparatus for controlling the gap between the nozzle and the work to a predetermined value, interrupt control apparatus for interrupting the execution of an NC command program, correction value calculation apparatus for calculating correction command values used for correcting coordinate values, and correction apparatus for correcting command values in accordance with the correction command values, etc. Tracer control is performed during execution of the NC commands, and when an amount of deviation from a path according to the NC commands exceeds a predetermined value, correction values are inserted to correct the path. Alternatively, the NC commands are executed without performing the tracer control. When an amount of deviation of the gap exceeds a predetermined value, correction values are inserted to correct the path. Teaching data can therefore be easily checked for accuracy and corrected, whereby reliable teaching data can be obtained.
