    摘要: A composite plastic film comprises a plastic film which is coated, as desired at least on one side, with ceramic material deposited using a vacuum thin layer deposition process and a plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating on the plastic film or on the ceramic layer which may be present, such that the ceramic layer is situated between the plastic film and the plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating. In order to improve the strength of bonding, a metal layer of chromium, aluminum, nickel, titanium, iron, molybdenum or an alloy made up from at least two of these metals is provided, as an aid to bonding, between the plastic film or on the ceramic layer which may be present and the plastic layer deposited by extrusion coating. A thin metal layer deposited in such an amount that it has a thickness of approximately 0.1 to 0.5 nm corresponding to a monatomic coverage is sufficient for this purpose.

    摘要: A film composite for packaging purposes. The film composite efficiently blocks the passage of water vapor and gas after sterilization in a water bath or in water vapor at temperatures of more than 90° C., and is a film consisting of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with a coextruded layer consisting of polyethlene-2,6-naphthalate (PEN) on at least one side. The film has a 10 nm to 200 nm thick ceramic layer on at least one of the sides that are coated with PEN. The layer is produced by simultaneously vaporizing silicon dioxide (SiO2) and metallic silicon in a vacuum. The layer consists of SiOx, x being a number between 0.9 and 2. The composite film blocks the passage of water vapor and gases to a large extent after sterilization in a water bath or in water vapor at temperatures of more than 90° C.

The packaging film includes a substrate film of a polyolefin or polyamide with a ceramic coating layer of SiOx, where x is a number from 1.5 to 1.8. The thickness of the ceramic coating layer is 10 nm to 2 &mgr;m. The ceramic coating layer of SiOx is deposited onto the polyolefin or polyamide substrate film using a vacuum thin film deposition process by depositing silicon oxide (SiO2) and elementary silicon (Si) simultaneously in vacuum.

    摘要: The invention relates to a thin-film composite system which has at least one substrate film and at least one thin film. The catalyst thereby catalyses the reduction of oxygen, as a result of which oxygen which is detrimental to oxidation-susceptible packaging items is consumed.     摘要: A form of packaging or packaging aid having integral guarantee of original pack and/or first-time opening containing a substrate with a surface that reflects visible light. The reflective surface is made of metal or is a metallic reflective surface. One or more single ceramic layers are provided on the reflecting surface. The ceramic layers are made of a compound having the formula SiOx, where x represents a number from 1.5 to 2.0, each ceramic layer has a thickness of 50 to 2000 nm. The ceramic layer is directly, nonreleasably affixed to the substrate or to the reflective surface of the substrate. On the ceramic layers, a reflecting layer which is semipermeable to visible light is provided. The reflective layer is made of metal and has a thickness of 0.2 to 60 nm, and is such that light striking the coated substrate is reflected and seen as different colors depending on the direction or angle at which it is viewed by an observer.

    摘要: In a process for coating a substrate surface with a layer of inorganic material, the inorganic material is vaporised in a vacuum chamber evacuated to at least 10.sup.-3 mbar by bombarding with an electron beam from a high voltage electron-beam gun and deposited on the substrate surface. Gas discharging is created between the point of incidence (A) of the electron beam on the inorganic material to be vaporised and an anode such that the electrostatic charge created by the high voltage electron-beam gun flows off via the anode. This way damage to the substrate, which may arise as a result discharging phenomena, can be effectively avoided.

    摘要: The process for preparing a composite film for packaging purposes, that includes coextruding polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene-2, 6-naphthalate (PEN) to form a film of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate. On at least one of the at least one PEN-coated side, a ceramic layer of SiOx, where x is number between 0.9 and 2, is deposited by means of the thin-film vacuum process through the simultaneous vaporization of silicon dioxide (SiO2) and metallic silicon, or by the vaporization of silicon monoxide (SiO) in a vacuum. Each of the at least one ceramic layers of SiOx having a thickness of 10 nm to 200 nm. The resultant composite film retains effective permeability barrier effect for water vapor and gases after sterilization in a water bath or in water vapor at a temperature of more than 90° C.
