摘要: A picture display method and apparatus in which a light source is lengthened in service life and optimum color reproduction is realized, while the light utilization efficiency is improved to reduce the power consumption and the size of the apparatus. The red, green and blue illuminating light beams radiated from the light-emitting diodes 12R, 12G and 12R, are illuminated via relay lenses and field lenses on picture display light valves 11R, 11G and 11B and spatially modulated in intensity so as to be synthesized by a synthesis prism 10 and so as to be projected to an enlarged scale on a screen 17. The profile of the light radiating portions of the light-emitting diodes 12R, 12G and 12B are set so as to be the same or similar to the profile of a picture display area of each of the picture display light valves 11R, 11G and 11B in order that the profile of the light beam illuminated on the picture display area will be in keeping with the profile of the picture display area.

摘要: An image displaying apparatus and method is provided which can provide a satisfactory display with a gradation of intensity even with a spatial light modulator which provides a binary light modulation. A light from a light source 1 is modulated by a spatial light modulator 3 which modulates a light at each pixel thereof correspondingly to a pixel data of an image to be displayed. When the pixel state of the spatial light modulator 3 is being changed, the light source 1 is turned off. When the pixel state of the spatial light modulator 3 is steady, a light pulse is irradiated from the light source 1 to the spatial light modulator 3 to display the image.

摘要: A display system for displaying a document includes a tablet terminal and a head mounted display device (HMD). The tablet terminal includes a display device which does not display confidential information that a third party is not allowed to browse, but displays non-confidential information that the third party is allowed to browse with regard to the document. The HMD includes a glasses-type display unit which does not allow the third party to browse, but allows a HMD user to browse, a communication unit which receives the confidential information, and a video camera for capturing the non-confidential information displayed on the display device. The glasses-type display unit, based on the captured non-confidential information, displays the received confidential information so that the received confidential information is visually recognized by the HMD user in a state of being aligned with the non-confidential information displayed on the display device.

摘要: In a mobile communication system in an embodiment, when a handover of a mobile station which is a target of coordinated communications among multiple wireless base stations is detected, at least a part of setting procedure for the coordinated communications (CoMP setting procedure) is executed before completion of the handover. Hence, the coordinated transmission for the mobile station can be resumed earlier after the handover, and any reduction in the communication quality or throughput caused by the resume of the coordinated communication after the handover of the mobile station can be prevented.

摘要: A cleaning tool has a cleaning element which includes a pair of right and left elongate split cleaning parts, each having an insert hole for receiving a holding element. A space is provided between the split cleaning parts for receiving an object to be cleaned. A third bonded part defines an outer side of the insert hole. The third bonded part includes a bonding line which extends straight in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning element in a front end region of the cleaning element, a bonding line which is formed rearward of the bonding line in the cleaning element and extends straight in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning element, and a bonding line which is formed rearward of the bonding line in the cleaning element and extends straight in the longitudinal direction of the cleaning element.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide an effective technique for realizing a higher cleaning effect in a cleaning tool having a sheet-type cleaning element for wiping an object to be cleaned. According to a representative cleaning element, the sheet pieces (11f) of a cleaning side sheet (111c) have a smaller width in a longitudinal direction than the sheet pieces (111d) of an upper face side sheet (111a).
