    摘要： In a continuous rolling line wherein the tail end part of a preceding rolled plate and the head end part of a following rolled plate are joined subsequently to a rough rolling and subjected to a following continuous finish rolling: a joining method of rolled plates wherein the tail end of the preceding rolled plate and the head end of the following rolled plate are formed into a nearly rectangular convex and concave shape respectively so as to inlay each other, the convex part and the concave part being combined each other in the same plane as the rolling lines, and then being fed to the continuous finish rolling; a joining method rolled plates wherein the side surface of the parallel inlay is formed in a taper shape in the direction of the plate thickness at any desired location of either the tail end part of the preceding rolled plate or the head end part of the backward rolled plate or of the both parts, and then being fed to the continuous finish rolling; and a joining method of rolled plates wherein the cut parts of the preceding and the following rolled plates are inlaid each other at the same plane, and joining only a part of the side edge of the inlay.

    摘要： An improved implant for a bone, a joint and tooth root comprising a metallic base material and a coating layer of hydroxyapatite which is formed by thermally sprayed hydroxyapatite powder or a mixture of hydroxyapatite powder and ceramic powder around the outer surface of the metallic base material, optionally a layer of a bonding agent and further a layer of ceramics are formed between the metallic base material and the layer of hydroxyapatite. The implant has a sufficient mechanical strength (e.g. impact strength) and further a good affinity to tissues of living bodies and is useful for implantation in various bones including tooth roots in living bodies.

    摘要： A decanter type centrifugal separator capable of discharging sludge directly from a portion of the sludge with least moisture content in a bowl so as to lower a moisture content and increase a separation efficiency, wherein a screw conveyor rotated with a difference in speed provided relative to the bowl is stored in the bowl rotated at a high speed, a dewatering cake discharge route (20) is provided in one end wall (2) of the bowl, an opening (20a) of the route into the bowl is provided near the inner peripheral wall of the bowl, the discharge route provides a restriction effect to the discharge of the dewatering cake, and a sedimentary layer with thick sedimentation layer is formed near the opening, whereby that portion only of the cake is discharged through the discharge route under head press of the sedimentation layer, that portion receiving the highest consolidation effect by the head press of a centrifugal force acting on the sediment, among the sedimentation layers accumulated at one end of the bowl.
