摘要: A liquid chromatograph includes pumps for supplying solvents, a mixer for mixing the solvents, a controller for controlling a mixing ratio of the solvents in the mixer, a chromatograph column for separating a sample carried with the solvents, a flow path control valve for supplying the sample together with the solvents to the chromatograph column, and a detector for detecting the sample supplied thereto, wherein the mixer includes a mixing chamber and a porous medium accommodated in the mixing chamber, the porous medium having a size and shape in conformity with a size and shape of said mixing chamber such that no substantial gap is formed between an outer surface of the porous medium and an inner surface of the mixing chamber.

摘要: A reagent reaction apparatus for automatically performing a reaction by introducing various kinds of reagents to a sample solution. The reagent reaction apparatus includes a number of sample vials within a containing section and a plunger valve with fluid introducing port and a fluid discharge port located on top of the containing section. A mechanism sequentially injects into the sample vial a predetermined amount of reagents into a sample vial containing a measured amount of sample solutions. The sample vial is held in a rotary cone in order to apply centrifugal force. Then, the sample solution and reagents are subjected top a temperature adjusting bath which is preselected for the required reaction temperature. A mechanism transports the final product in the sample vial to a discharge station.

摘要: A method for making harmless a material to be treated containing a pollutant, including the steps of arranging a pair of ejecting nozzles such that nozzle openings thereof are opposed to each other inside a pressure-proof furnace, thermally treating that material, ejecting the thermally treated material through each of the nozzle openings of the nozzles, respectively, and colliding the material ejected through one of the nozzles with that ejected through the other in a space inside the pressure-proof furnace and between a pair of the nozzle openings such that a portion of the pollutant of the material remaining non-decomposed by the thermal treatment may be decomposed.
