Abstract: A power converter according to the present disclosure includes a cooling plate and a plurality of circuit elements. The cooling plate includes a first cooling surface and a second cooling surface on an opposite side from the first cooling surface. The cooling plate is provided with a through hole passing through between the first and second cooling surfaces. The circuit elements convert AC power supplied from an external power source into DC power of a certain voltage and output the DC power. The circuit elements at least include first and second circuit elements. The first circuit element includes a first terminal and is thermally connected to the first cooling surface. The second circuit element includes a second terminal electrically connected to the first terminal and inserted into the through hole, and is thermally connected to the second cooling surface.

Abstract: A vehicle hybrid system includes a transmission mechanically coupled with an engine, a drive shaft mechanically coupled with the transmission, a rotation-transmitting part coupled with the drive shaft, a power connecting-disconnecting part coupled with the drive shaft via the rotation-transmitting part, a motor generator mechanically coupled with the power connecting-disconnecting part, and a directional power transmission part for transmitting power in a direction from the motor generator to the engine to drive the engine and for not transmitting power in a direction from the engine to the motor generator to drive the motor generator. This vehicle hybrid system has high efficiency.

Abstract: An acquisition unit acquires at least one of first information and second information. A notification unit provides warning information to the driver, the warning information being generated based on at least one of the first information and the second information acquired and indicating a possibility of an increase in an insurance premium of an insurance applied to the driver. An reception unit receives acceptance of the provided warning information from the driver. A processor determines to transmit the acceptance by the driver of the possibility of an increase in the insurance premium to an insurance company server when the acceptance is received and determines to transmit at least one of the first information and the second information to the insurance company server when acceptance is not received.

Abstract: A vehicle driving apparatus includes an inverter which drives a permanent magnet motor. The inverter includes a three-phase bridge circuit including a plurality of switch elements, a drive circuit connected to the three-phase bridge circuit, a control circuit connected to the drive circuit, and an abnormality detecting unit which detects abnormality of the inverter. The drive circuit includes a three-phase-short-circuit-forming circuit which causes three phases of the permanent magnet motor to form short circuits, an abnormality accepting terminal which accepts an abnormality signal output from the abnormality detecting unit, and a check terminal which accepts an active check signal for causing the three-phase-short-circuit-forming circuit to perform three-phase short circuit control.

Abstract: A bus bar connection structure includes a housing, a circuit board including metal, and a bus bar that are disposed in order from a lower side, a lower nut including metal and disposed in an upper surface-side of the housing in a state in which the lower nut is embedded in the housing, and a bolt including metal. On an upper surface of the circuit board, an insulation layer and a copper foil pattern are formed in order from a lower side. An insulation paper piece is disposed between the lower nut and the circuit board. The bolt is screwed into the lower nut in a state in which the bolt is inserted through the insulation paper piece, the circuit board, the insulation layer, the copper foil pattern, and the bus bar. A rotation-preventing part is further provided, the rotation-preventing part preventing the insulation paper piece from rotating due to torque generated during fastening of the bolt.

The DC-to-DC converter outputs, to the inverter, (i) a voltage inputted to the DC-to-DC converter of a positive electrode of the driving battery as-is and (ii) a voltage inputted to the DC-to-DC converter of a negative electrode of the driving battery after increasing the voltage in a negative direction.
