In a cleaning process, the inventive system, apparatus and method can remove particles from both sides of a wafer more efficiently and effectively. in one aspect, the invention is a system for processing flat articles comprising: a rotatable support for supporting a flat article; a first dispenser for applying liquid to a first surface of a flat article on the rotatable support; a second dispenser for applying liquid to a second surface of a flat article on the rotatable support; a first transducer assembly comprising a first transducer for generating acoustic energy and a first transmitter acoustically coupled to the first transducer, the first transducer assembly positioned so that when the first dispenser applies liquid to the first surface of a flat article on the rotatable support, a first meniscus of liquid is formed between a portion of the first transmitter and the first surface of the flat article; and a second transducer assembly comprising a second transducer for generating acoustic energy and a second transmitter acoustically coupled to the second transducer, the second transducer assembly positioned so that when the second dispenser applies liquid to the second surface of the flat article on the rotatable support, a second meniscus of liquid is formed between a portion of the second transmitter and the second surface of the flat article.

The applicator may be applicable for a medical purpose. When the frangible applicator tip is broken, the fluid flows from the source to the absorbent member, spread on a surface. The frangible applicator tip may comprise a support element permanently connected to the fluid source, a relatively rigid tongue element, and a frangible region there between. The tongue element may comprise ribs for reinforcing the tongue element. The applicator tip may comprise a semi-permeable or non-permeable cover to control the speed and direction of the dispersion of the fluid.

The dentifrice may be encapsulated and optionally, positioned on the head of a toothbrush. Use of the dentifrice provides a small amount of high cleaning abrasive to the teeth, and has stain removal efficacy. In one aspect, a dentifrice composition comprising an orally acceptable carrier and 1 to 10 wt % abrasive, such that the total amount of abrasive delivered per application is 2 mg to 8 mg, the abrasive having a weight mean particle size in the range of 3 to 7 μm, with at least 90% of the particles by weight having a size below 16 μm, and wherein the composition does not contain an oral care active.

The polymer-asphalt master batch comprises at least one polymer and a first asphalt. The asphalt-cross linking agent blend comprises a second asphalt and at least one cross linking agent. A predetermined amount of the polymer-asphalt master batch is blended with a predetermined amount of the asphalt-cross linking agent blend to form a PMA blend. Mixing of the PMA blend is performed without substantial delay following blending of the polymer-asphalt master batch with the asphalt-cross linking agent blend.

    摘要: A hand-held dispensing applicator comprising a source of fluid, a frangible applicator tip attached to the fluid source, and an absorbent member attached to the frangible applicator tip. When the frangible applicator tip is broken, fluid flows from the source to the absorbent member, whereby the fluid is applied and spread on a surface.
