    Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing a distributed Wi-Fi network via a cloud based system using a plurality of control loops over multiple timescales include receiving and storing data measurements associated with operation of the distributed Wi-Fi network; performing one or more of: a fast loop optimization of operating parameters associated with the distributed Wi-Fi network based on one or more first metrics and associated first thresholds; and a slow loop optimization of the operating parameters associated with the distributed Wi-Fi network based on one or more second metrics and associated second thresholds, wherein a timescale of the fast loop optimization is finer than a timescale of the slow loop optimization; and providing the operating parameters to the distributed Wi-Fi network for configuration thereof.

    Abstract: Compact electronic devices, such as Access Points (APs), having airflow and cooling features are provided. According to one implementation, a compact electronic device includes an outer plastic housing and an inner casing arranged inside the outer plastic housing. The inner casing has a high-voltage section configured to support one or more high-voltage electrical components and a low-voltage section configured to support one or more low-voltage electrical components. The compact electronic device further includes a single fan that is configured to draw air from outside the outer plastic housing, move the air through the high-voltage and low-voltage sections, and exhaust the air through one or more exhaust vents in the outer plastic housing. Also, the inner casing is configured to isolate the one or more high-voltage electrical components from metal portions of the low-voltage section by at least a certain separation to meet clearance and creepage safety standards.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for estimation and learning for optimization of a distributed Wi-Fi network performed by a cloud controller include obtaining data associated with operation of the distributed Wi-Fi network; processing the obtained data; determining one or more of forecasts, predictions, trends, and interference for the distributed Wi-Fi network based on the processed data; and performing an optimization of the distributed Wi-Fi network based on the determined one or more forecasts, predictions, trends, and interference. The obtained data can time-series data, and wherein the processing comprises collating the time-series data across all nodes in the distributed Wi-Fi network and segmenting the time-series data into time periods with similar load characteristics.
