    摘要: The apparatus and method for eliminating ground water infiltration while stabilizing the ground and repairing underground pipe/conduit and connections is taught in this art. The steps are to first inject, under pressure, expandable structural foam in the space adjacent and outside the pipe while blocking any infiltration of the foam into the interior of the pipe, conduit or connection. Concurrently or separately the inside diameter of the pipe is receiving a structural repair. The result is stabilized ground, elimination of ground water infiltration and repair of the host pipe conduit or connection.

    摘要: The apparatus and method for eliminating ground water infiltration while stabilizing the ground and repairing underground pipe/conduit and connections is taught in this art.     摘要: A method of repairing an intersection of a first conduit and a second conduit that includes the steps of providing a repair material configured to conform to an intersection of a first conduit and a second conduit and impregnating the repair material with a heat curable resin. The method further includes positioning the repair material at the intersection of the conduits and compressing the repair material against said intersection with a structure having a plurality of electrically conductive fibers. Electric current is applied to the conductive fibers to resistively heat the fibers to facilitate curing of the resin in the repair material.

    摘要: A method of controlling the cure of concrete structures using intralaminar heat generated by applying electrical energy to electrically conductive members disposed within the structures. These conductive members include carbon fibers. The method further incorporates the electrically conductive, members as internal reinforcement in the cured, finished structure reducing or obviating the need for reinforcing steel. The electrically conductive, members are provided in various forms including but not limited to, pliable forms impregnated with a polymer resin matrix capable of being rigidified and completely rigidified forms. The invention may be used in conjunction with heat responsive agents to activate curing. A preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention is a controlled (expedited or heat activated) cure of a concrete structure. Concrete structures containing the electrical heating capability taught herein are also included within the invention.

    摘要: A method of repairing a target section of conduit is provided. First, a repair apparatus is provided with a material structure that engages the conduit. The material structure is defined by a plurality of fibers such that the repair material is flexible and seamless. A curable resin is introduced into the repair material by either injection or infusion depending on the type of resin utilized. Next, the repair material is placed in the conduit in proximity to the engaged aged section or target section of the conduit. The resin in the material structure is then cured, while the repair apparatus is in place adjacent the target or damaged section.
