    摘要: In some embodiments of the present invention, a disk drive includes a rotatable data storage disk, a head, and a controller. The head is configured to fly on an air cushion relative to a data recording surface of the rotating disk while writing data to the data recording surface responsive to a write command from a host device or while reading data from the data recording surface to generate a read signal responsive to a read command from the host device. The controller is configured to measure flying height of the head relative to the data recording surface of the disk in response to sensing power-up of the disk drive and/or a shut-down command from the host device. The controller may measure the flying height in response to sensing power-up of the disk drive and, subsequent to measuring the flying height, may generate a ready signal to the host computer that indicates that the disk drive has powered-up and is ready to receive read/write commands from the host computer.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for optimization of a performance of a multi-channel transmitter including several transmit elements, particularly in a magnetic resonance imaging device. The method includes: (a) Exciting the transmit elements of the multi-channel transmitter by electric excitation signals comprising a specific power, with the power of the excitation signals partially reflected by the transmit elements of the multichannel transmitter, (b) Determining a reflected power which is reflected by the multi-channel transmitter during excitation of the transmit elements, (c) Determining reflection coefficients Sxx of the multi-channel transmitter, (d) Determining reflection coefficients Sxy of the multi-channel transmitter, (e) Calculating a performance criterion representing the performance of the multi-channel transmitter, with the performance criterion based on the reflected power, the reflection coefficients Sxx and the reflection coefficients Sxy, and (f) Tuning the multi-channel transmitter so that the performance criterion is optimized.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for compensating patient movements in MRI scans in real time and to a device suitable for carrying out said method. The method involves the following steps: optically sensing a marking element (5) connected to a patient (3) by means of an image sensor module (7) of an MRI-compatible camera (2) which is positioned inside an MRI device; transferring the image data detected by the image sensor module (7) to a micro-controller module (11) which is integrated in the MRI-compatible camera (2); calculating position data of the marking element (5) in the micro-controller module (11); and transmitting the position data to an external analyzing unit or to the MRI device in real time.

    摘要: A project management system is enabled to implement filtering, sorting, and field level security for data associated with managed projects. A filter for field selection is prepared by a project client application and forwarded to a project server. The server generates an access attribute table based the user permissions that may be set for each field within the managed projects. Upon retrieving the selected fields from project database, the project server builds a secured list of fields. A data set to be provided to the project client is prepared by removing the fields for which the user lacks the requisite access permission prior to sorting the data. The removed data may be used for user-transparent computations within the project server, but guarded from client applications.
