摘要: Provided is a fabricating apparatus for a secondary battery, the fabricating apparatus including: a base material supplier configured to supply a base material; a winder configured to wind the base material through a mandrel; and a controller configured to control a base material supply amount of the base material supplier and a mandrel rotation amount of the winder, wherein the controller is further configured to store a profile of the base material supply amount with respect to the mandrel rotation amount, and to synchronously control the base material supply amount and the mandrel rotation amount based on the profile.

摘要: A secondary battery and method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first current collector, a second current collector, and an isolation layer interposed between the first and second current collectors, the first current collector, the second current collector, and the isolation layer being wound, each of the first and second current collectors including a body portion and an extension portion extending from the body portion, and the extension portions of the first and second current collectors extending in substantially opposite directions. The battery also includes a first auxiliary current collector formed over the electrode assembly and electrically connected to the extension portion of the first current collector. The battery further includes a second auxiliary current collector formed below the electrode assembly and electrically connected to the extension portion of the second current collector.

摘要: A rechargeable battery and a manufacturing method of the same are provided, which can aid in preventing an electric short from occurring between electrode plates by forming a cutting portion of each on the electrode plates in the shape of a curved surface or a bead having a uniform thickness and/or a diameter sufficient to prevent or substantially prevent the cutting portion from piercing a separator separating the electrode plates from each other. In a present embodiment, the electrode assembly includes an electrode plate having a current collector plate, a coating portion having an electrically active material coated on the current collector plate, a non-coating portion formed at an edge of the current collector plate and not coated with the electrically active material, a cutting portion inwardly formed from the non-coating portion, and a curved portion formed along the cutting portion in a thickness direction of the non-coating portion.
