    摘要： A liquid application apparatus includes a rotatable coating cylinder having a circumferential surface onto which an application liquid is supplied; a base member which is conveyed continuously while making contact with the rotatable coating cylinder; a blade which scrapes off excess liquid of the application liquid in such a manner that a prescribed amount of the application liquid remains on the rotatable coating cylinder, before the rotatable coating cylinder transfers, onto the base member, the application liquid; a blade holding body which holds the blade, which is supported on a supporting shaft and is rotatable in a rotation direction; and a plurality of biasing devices which are disposed in an axial direction of the rotatable coating cylinder and bias the blade holding body in the rotation direction of the blade holding body in such a manner that the blade makes contact with the circumferential surface of the rotatable coating cylinder.

    摘要： A method forms a resin film on a substrate by depositing droplets of resin liquid by an inkjet method. The method includes: a first resin liquid arrangement step of arranging a plurality of droplets of a first resin liquid separately from each other on a substrate in such a manner that the droplets do not make contact with each other; a first resin liquid curing step of curing at least a surface of each of the droplets of the first resin liquid arranged on the substrate; a second resin liquid arrangement step of arranging a plurality of droplets of a second resin liquid at substantially central positions between the droplets of the first resin liquid on the substrate, after the at least the surface of each of the droplets of the first resin liquid is cured; and a second resin liquid curing step of curing the droplets of the second resin liquid arranged on the substrate.

The liquid application apparatus includes: an application cylinder which includes an application section and two small diameter sections having a diameter smaller than the application section, the two small diameter sections being arranged so as to interpose the application section, the application section having an upper portion that is in contact with the band-shaped base material and a lower portion at which the application liquid is supplied, the supplied application liquid on the application section being transferred to the band-shaped base material at the upper portion of the application section while the application cylinder is rotated; a first blade which makes contact with a circumferential surface of the application section of the application cylinder at a contact line, the first blade scraping away an excess of the application liquid on the application section of the application cylinder before the application liquid is transferred to the band-shaped base material; and a second blade which is in contact with circumferential surfaces of the two small diameter sections of the application cylinder.

A method for producing a modified conjugated diene-based polymer, comprising: a polymerization step of polymerizing a conjugated diene compound, copolymerizing conjugated diene compounds, or copolymerizing a conjugated diene compound with an aromatic vinyl compound using an alkali metal compound or an alkaline earth metal compound as a polymerization initiator to obtain a conjugated diene-based polymer having an active end, and a modifying step of reacting a compound represented by following formula (1) with the active end of the conjugated diene-based copolymer.

    摘要： A method of the present invention, for producing an iodizing agent, includes the step of electrolyzing iodine molecules in a solution by using an acid as a supporting electrolyte. This realizes (i) a method of producing an iodine cation suitable for use as an iodizing agent that does not require a sophisticated separation operation after iodizing reaction is completed, and (ii) an electrolyte used in the method. Further, a method of the present invention, for producing an aromatic iodine compound, includes the step of causing an iodizing agent, and an aromatic compound whose nucleus has one or more substituent groups and two or more hydrogen atoms, to react with each other under the presence of a certain ether compound. This realizes such a method of producing an aromatic iodine compound that position selectivity in iodizing reaction of an aromatic compound is improved.
