    摘要： Rubber compositions are disclosed for integral attachment of polymeric and metallic materials. Improved bondability is attributed to the use of a selected base rubber blended with a selected class of inorganic or organic fillers, silane compounds and vulcanizing agents such that the finished composition is provided with a specified range of Mooney viscosities. Also disclosed is a method of hose-metal fitting connection by the application of the composition. Gas- and oil-impermeability characteristics are greatly enhanced.

    摘要： A process for producing hoses of laminated construction having a plastic inner tube is disclosed which comprises:- (a) extruding a thermoplastic resin on a mandrel to form an inner tube with a predetermined thickness, the mandrel being preformed of a thermoplastic resin or rubber and releasable from the inner tube, (b) laminating an outer tube integrally on the inner tube by extrusion of an unvulcanized rubber to form an integral hose body, (c) vulcanizing the hose body, (d) removing the mandrel from the vulcanized hose body. This hose is characterized by high resistance to load of impulse.

    摘要： A yoke mounting apparatus for adjustably positioning a yoke relative to a cathode ray tube and maintaining it in position until it is secured to the tube. The yoke is fastened to an elongated member rotatably mounted on a positioning means that can be moved along three orthogonal axes. A tilting mechanism supporting the tube allows tilting of the tube relative to the yoke. A locking means normally prevents any movement between the yoke and tube. A pneumatic source is used to release only that lock preventing the type of movement desired. All the controls for the apparatus are mounted at the front of the tube so the tube screen can be viewed while the relative positions of the yoke and tube are adjusted.

    摘要： High performance hoses are disclosed which are characterized by enhanced heat resistance, leading to prolonged service life, and hence are suitable for use in automobile power steering units. Inner tubes are formed of hydrogenated acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubbers of a selected composition. The inner tubes may be of a double-layered construction composed of an inner layer of hydrogenated acrylonitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber and an outer layer of rubber composition which comprises specified amounts of a selected class of sulfurs, organic peroxide and triazine compounds combined with selected sulfur-curable base rubbers.
