摘要: In a sealed battery pack comprising a plurality of serially disposed cells in which power generating elements are housed in prismatic cell cases and the openings thereof are sealed, the plurality of serially disposed cells are housed in a cooling box, and the top openings in the cooling box and the openings in the various cell cases of the cells are sealed by integrating lids. Coolant passages on both sides between the side surfaces of the cells and the side walls on both sides of the cooling box in the cell arrangement direction, and coolant passages between the cases of the cells are formed so as to communicate with each other, so that all of the side surfaces of the cells are forcibly cooled by a coolant.

摘要: A battery assembly includes single-battery cells, and thermally-conductive members. The thermally-conductive members are formed of a soft material as a plated configuration. The soft material exhibits thermal conductivity and electric insulatability. The single-battery cells, and the thermally-conductive members are adhered to each other, and are disposed one after another alternately in a row, thereby interposing the thermally-conducive members between the single-cell batteries. The thermally-conductive members include a radiation surface respectively from which heat that the single-battery cells produce radiates. The single-battery cells are cooled indirectly by cooling the radiation surfaces of the thermally-conductive members.

摘要: A roughened rubber bonding surface having a predetermined roughness of a rubber member and a roughened resin bonding surface having a predetermined roughness of a resin member made of a thermoplastic resin are connected to constitute a bonding interface, and ultrasonic vibrations are applied to the bonding interface from the rubber member side. Only the resin member is fused by friction heat generated in the bonding interface so as to force fused resin into the rubber member, and the fused resin that has been so forced into the rubber member is solidified therein, whereby both the rubber member and the resin member are mechanically bonded by virtue of an anchoring effect produced by the two members which are entangled together.

摘要: A battery module comprises a battery element and a storage unit configured to contain the battery element therein. The storage unit comprises an electrically conductive positive electrode-side plate and an electrically conductive negative electrode-side plate. The positive electrode-side plate and the negative electrode-side plate define a storage space to contain the battery element therein. The storage unit has a joint end provided on the periphery of the storage space and formed by joining an outer peripheral area of the positive electrode-side plate with an outer peripheral areal of the negative electrode-side plate across an insulating sheet placed between the two outer peripheral areas. The joint end comprises: a wind part formed by stacking and winding the two outer peripheral areas to be pressure-bonded to and joined with each other; and an outer peripheral frame body formed by insert molding using an insulating resin to surround the wind part.

摘要: This invention relates to a battery structure with improved safety. The battery structure includes: at least two batteries disposed axially parallel to each other, positive terminals thereof facing opposite directions, negative terminals thereof facing opposite directions; an insulating material covering each of the batteries; and a connecting member provided at an end of the at least two batteries for connecting the positive terminal of one of the batteries with the negative terminal of the other battery. The connecting member includes: a negative terminal connector attached to the other battery so as to come into contact with the negative terminal of the other battery; and a bus bar connected at one end portion thereof to the positive terminal of the one battery. The negative terminal connector has a socket into which the other end portion of the bus bar is to be inserted. The tip of the other end portion of the bus bar in the direction of insertion into the socket is chamfered so that it does not impair the insulating material.

The low thermal-conductivity sheet is formed on the elastic adhesive layer, and exhibits a second thermal conductivity being lower than the first thermal conductivity of the piston body and falling in a range of from 5 or more to 40 W/m·K or less.
