摘要: A runtime environment can access code data defining an application comprising a persistent component comprising code for a user interface element and referencing a navigation action, a location loader, and a plurality of location components. Each location component can comprise executable code for child contents for providing a respective view of the application. A first view of the application can be provided by loading code of a first location component into memory via the location loader and executing code of the child contents of the first location component via the runtime environment. In response to receiving a navigation command via the user interface element, a second view of the application can be provided by loading code of a second location component into memory and executing code of the child contents of the second location component via the runtime environment. The code of the first location component may be removed from memory after the navigation command is received.

摘要: Certain embodiments facilitate developing an application using a client-side object model to data source mapping. This may involve defining data use on the client side of the application in various ways that simplify the development necessary to implement data access features. In certain embodiments, data access and synchronization between a client and a data source is accomplished by configuring the client to map to a set of remote procedure call operations for a given data source. For example, the user may implement or confirm update, create, delete, and retrieve function calls for a given data source such that the application can implement data access and updating using those functions. Embodiments use persistent object identifiers, change logs, and/or data bindings in a client to provide various features and benefits. Certain embodiments also facilitate conflict resolution, demand paging, and lazy loading.

摘要: A method for modeling a set of observed data comprises selecting a reference model and an alternative model as possible descriptions of the set of observed data, and storing an index function for measuring fit of models to data. The method further includes performing, by one or more processors, a simulated threshold-fitting for a first of the two models, deriving an initial simulated index for the second model for fitting the second model to the simulated data, and deriving an initial boundary for simulated index difference including calculating a difference between the threshold-fit simulated index for the first model and the initial simulated index for the second model. The method further includes determining, based on a comparison, whether to update a counter used in calculating a simulated p-value, and selecting, based on the simulated p-value, one of the reference and alternative models for modeling the set of observed data.

摘要: The anti-fouling compositions and process described herein are capable of preventing or delaying for prolonged periods the fouling of structures such as boats, ships, piers, etc., having substantial portions thereof submerged in water. Processes are described herein for preparing and applying these compositions as coatings to objects to be submerged in sea water. These compositions comprise a number of components, some of which may be coreacted, including: (a) an organic polymeric material having carboxylic acid groups therein which have been reacted with a trihydrocarbyl tin compound to produce ester derivative groups therein; (b) a hydrophilic component having poor water solubility, preferably being water insoluble and having at least two hydroxy groups per molecule, such as castor oil, partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate, partially hydrolyzed copolymers of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate, hydroxy-containing polyacrylates or polymethacrylates, such as ply(2-hydroxy-ethyl methacrylate), polymers of monovinyl ether of alkylene glycols such as ethylene glycol, etc.; (c) a hydrophobic component comprising a compound having 1-3 urethane groups therein and no more than about 20 carbon atoms preferably made by the reaction of an isocyanate compound, such as diisocyanate, with one or more hydroxy-containing solvents, such as ethanol, propanol, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether, etc., or a monoisocyanate with a di- or tri-hydroxy compound such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerine, etc., preferably in the presence of low molecular weight ketones, esters and aromatic hydrocarbons, such as methyl ethyl ketone, cyclohexanone, toluene, etc.

摘要: The present invention provides methods for separating one or more components of interest from a sample containing particulates and soluble materials. The method comprises the steps of: (a) filtering a sample through silica filter media whose surface silanol groups have reacted with one or more silanes, and (b) simultaneously capturing particulates and binding a soluble component to the silica filter media. The bound soluble component of interest is subsequently eluted from the silica filter media. In one embodiment of the invention, unwanted soluble materials are captured by the treated silica filter media and desired component of interest is recovered from the flow-through. In another embodiment of the invention, different components of interest are recovered from both the eluate and the flow-through. Preferred treated silica filter media are silane-treated rice hull ash or diatomaceous earth with functional quaternary ammonium group or functional sulphonate group. Particulates suitable for the present invention, for example, are microorganisms.
