    摘要: A continuous assemblage of pots for raising and transplanting seedlings and a method of manufacturing the assemblage is provided, in which it is possible to extend the length of a link piece without folding an extension portion or arranging a slit, thereby making it possible to handle enlargement of the interval between the planted seedlings stably and reliably.A link piece 3 is formed by folding back both ends of a strip-shaped thin film in the length direction, such that approximately one-fourth of the length of the thin film is folded back onto the same face of the in film at each end, then attaching the folded-back portions to the same face of the thin film with a water-soluble adhesive. The link pieces 3 are disposed in two rows in a staggered arrangement in which the folded-back portions 6 are oriented such that they face the folded-back portions 6 of the opposing link pieces 3. Continuous pieces 8 are formed by using a non-water-soluble adhesive to attach both ends in the length direction of each link piece 3 to the opposing link pieces 3. Individual pots 2 are formed between the opposing link pieces 3. Therefore, it is possible to extend the length of the link piece 3 without folding an extension portion or arranging a slit, as in the conventional continuous assemblage of pots, thereby making it possible to handle enlargement of the interval between the planted seedlings stably and reliably.

    摘要: A multi-cylinder internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders, each comprising a combustion chamber and an accumulation chamber which are interconnected to each other via an accumulation valve. The accumulation chambers are interconnected to each other via a common connecting passage. The opening operation of the accumulation valve is controlled so that the accumulation valve remains opened during the compression stroke. In the first half of the compression stroke, a jet of the combustible mixture is spouted out into the combustion chamber from the accumulation chamber to create a strong swirl motion in the combustion chamber. In the latter half of the compression stroke, the combustible mixture in the combustion chamber flows into the accumulation chamber to accumulate the combustible mixture under high pressure, which is spouted out into the combustion chamber at the next cycle.

When an operating member is released from its lock, it is pulled along with the sliding door, by a uniform force. To start movement of the operating member, a pushing member mounted on a slidable member is pushed by the spring forces of two coil springs, thus aiding the operation of pushing the operating member and permitting quick and smooth start of movement of the operating member, sliding door, etc. With the screwing of an adjustment screw, the spring force of an adjustment spring is adjusted. The adjusted spring force causes a pushing member to be pushed against a guide member via a pivotal member and a pushing member to effect adjustment of the speed of movement of the operating member for braking action.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine comprises a cylinder block and a cylinder head. A combustion chamber is formed in the cylinder block and the cylinder head. An accumulation chamber is formed within the cylinder head and communicated with the combustion chamber via an operating valve. The accumulation chamber is disposed adjacent to an exhaust port of the engine and is heat exchangeable with the exhaust port. The operating valve is opened approximately at the time the compression stroke is commenced and is closed approximately at the time the compression stroke is completed. A cap is disposed at the entrance of the accumulation chamber and has a plurality of jets formed thereon. The compressed combustible gas mixture is accumulated within the accumulation chamber, heated by the heat transmitted from the exhaust port and spouted out into the combustion chamber, so that approximately uniform turbulences are generated in the combustion chamber and the flame speed is increased.
