摘要: Provided are a stacked electronic part that can sufficiently suppress plating deposition on the surface of a porous green body when a terminal electrode is formed on an external electrode, thereby enabling a decrease in the reliability of products to be prevented, and a method of manufacturing the stacked electronic part. The stacked electronic part 1 is a PTC thermistor having a stacked body 4 containing a porous green body 2 made of ceramics and having a plurality of vacancies and a plurality of internal electrodes 3 formed within the porous green body 2, and is provided with at least one unit structure 10 in which the porous green body 2 and the internal electrode 3 are stacked. External electrodes 5, 5 are connected to the internal electrode 2, and upon the external electrodes 5, 5 are formed terminal electrodes 7, 7 by plating. Resin is filled in the plurality of vacancies of the porous green body 2 at a filling ratio of not less than 60%.

摘要: Steam is contacted with a hydrogen absorbing alloy in a temperature range from 200.degree. C. to 400.degree. C. With a contact catalytic reaction of water, a metal contained in the hydrogen absorbing alloy is changed to an oxide or a hydroxide. Hydrogen produced causes the Ni compound to be reduced and thereby the Ni metal that is catalytically active is produced. Thus, the surface of the hydrogen absorbing alloy is activated. The steam is contained in an inert gas or a reductive gas. This treatment method is suitable as an activation treatment for a hydrogen absorbing alloy used as an active material of a negative electrode of a secondary battery.

摘要: In an electrophotographic recording device which includes a number of consumable parts, there is provided a first memory for storing a currently integrated total number of prints, and a number of prints at replacement of each consumable part. A second memory stores a number of lifetime prints, which is a conversion of the life of each part into a number of prints. A processor performs a first calculation to calculate a number of prints for replaced consumable parts after such replacement and a second calculation to calculate a wear rate of the replaced consumable parts from the number of lifetime prints read out from the second memory, and from the number of prints calculated by the first calculation. An indication section indicates the wear rate obtained from the second calculation. The number of prints stored in the first memory for the consumable parts at replacement is written into the current total number of prints.
