摘要： An absorbent article comprising an absorbent gelling material (AGM) having an encapsulated compound of one or more odor controlling organic compounds disposed upon a surface thereof is described. Alternatively, an AGM particle comprising an encapsulated reactive compound of one or more odor controlling organic compounds disposed as a surface coating thereon is described. Additionally, a method to manufacture an absorbent article is described. The method provides for the steps of: a) providing a solution in a solvent system, the solution has an encapsulating agent and one or more odor controlling organic compounds as a surface coating; b) applying an amount of the solution to a surface of an AGM particle; and, c) incorporating the AGM particle having the solution applied thereto into the absorbent article.

摘要： Disclosed are absorbent articles having a cyclodextrin complex of one or more odor controlling organic compounds wherein the cyclodextrin is a substituted cyclodextrin (wherein the H atom of OH groups in positions 2, 3 and 6 is partially or entirely replaced by a substituent —R) having a substitution degree (DS) of 0.4 or more —R substituents per molecule of cyclodextrin and wherein substitution in position 2 is 20% or above, in position 6 is 20% or above and in position 3 is 50% or below. Cyclodextrin complexes of this type release the odor controlling organic compound much faster and in more complete manner than non-substituted or differently substituted cyclodextrin complexes thus the odor control efficacy is improved.

摘要： A composition applied on a substrate comprised by, or forming, or used for manufacturing of, a disposable absorbent article may be used for reducing the adherence of feces or menses to the human skin. The composition deposited on the substrate does not affect negatively the manufacturing process of the disposable absorbent article and imparts desirable fluid handling properties to the substrate. The composition may also be desirably deposited on a substrate used as, or in a wipe.

摘要： An absorbent article, intended to be worn by a wearer, wherein at least a part of a body facing surface of that article has a lotion composition. The lotion composition includes at least one first compound which is liquid at 25° C. and at least one second compound which is solid at 25° C. The first compound is a liquid polyethylene glycol, and the second compound is a solid fatty compound selected from the group consisting of solid fatty acids, solid fatty alcohol and solid fatty soaps. When the solid fatty compound is a solid fatty acid, then the total amount of liquids is higher than the total amount of solids.
