    摘要: A mounting member fixed to an engine and a mounting member fixed to a vehicle body are interconnected by a hollow elastomeric block which has a variable-volume primary fluid chamber defined therein. A subsidiary fluid chamber having a diaphragm on a portion of an outer wall thereof communicates with the primary fluid chamber through two fluid passages. A movable plate forming a portion of the outer wall of the primary fluid chamber is connected to a voice coil motor, and by one example, is driven at the same phase as a vibration applied from the engine. During a normal traveling, both the fluid chambers communicate with each other through the fluid passage having a smaller length. During idling or during a low speed traveling, a switch-over valve is operated to permit both the fluid chamber to be put into communication with each other through the fluid passage having a larger length. With the above construction, it is possible to stably exhibit the performance of the vibration-isolating mount device in a wide frequency region.

    摘要: A vibration control system controls transmission of vibrations from a vibration source to a base. The vibration control system comprises a vibration control assembly. The vibration control assembly has a bracket fixed to the vibration source, a pair of driving members holding the bracket therebetween and deformable or displaceable in opposite directions and by substantially the same amount in response to at least one control signal corresponding to the vibrations from the vibration source, one of the driving members being arranged between the bracket and the base, and a bolt securing the bracket and the driving members to the base.

    摘要: A fault diagnosis method and apparatus for a control system that includes a plurality of actuators and a plurality of sensors for controlling the operation of the actuators in accordance with the output signals of the sensors, wherein even in the case where a fault occurs in any of the actuators or any of the sensors constituting the nucleus of the system, the faulty point can be easily and inexpensively identified. In the fault diagnosis, the transmission characteristics between the individual actuators and the individual sensors are measured. On the basis of the measurements, a fault is decided on for all the transmission paths between the individual actuators and the individual sensors, thereby estimating a faulty point from the pattern of the fault decision of the transmission paths.

    摘要: A self-expanding mount controls transmission of vibration of a vibration source to a base. A main liquid chamber is defined between a resilient member fixed to the vibration source or the base and a casing fixed to the base or the vibration source. A metallic bellows is driven in response to a control signal corresponding to vibration of the vibration source, cause a variation in the pressure of liquid within the main liquid chamber. This variation in the liquid pressure causes contraction and expansion of the resilient member to thereby control the transmission of vibration of the vibration source to the base. A cylinder is formed in the casing and defines part of the main liquid chamber. A driven member is received in the cylinder for axial displacement therein in response to the above control signal. The driven member may be a bellows or a piston.
