    Abstract: A method for configuring a configurable suspension, the method may include obtaining acquired sensed information that represent (a) one or more driving parameters of the vehicle, (b) one or more vehicle cabin disturbance parameters, (c) a configuration of a configurable suspension, and (d) a road segment that precedes the vehicle; selecting, out of multiple configurations of the configurable suspension, a selected configuration that one applied will attribute to obtain a desired human-in-vehicle comfort value; and triggering or requesting a setting of the configurable suspension to a configuration of the one or more configurations.

    Abstract: A hydraulic system for lowering the ride height of a vehicle includes at least one hydraulic shock mounted to the suspension of the vehicle. Each of the hydraulic shocks has a floating bearing in the hydraulic shock, and an inlet. The inlet is hydraulically connected to a central manifold that is adapted to move fluid into and out of the hydraulic shock for moving the floating bearing in each of the hydraulic shocks. When the floating bearing is moved in the hydraulic shock, the hydraulic shock shortens thereby lowering the ride height of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle control system includes a road data memory, current position sensor that detects a current position of a vehicle and a camera that takes a picture of the road ahead of the current position. At least one indicator line such as a lane dividing line on the road is shown in the picture. The picture changes as the vehicle moves forward along the road, during which increase in width of the indicator line or increase of distance between two indicator lines may be detected. By such detection, the vehicle position with respect to the indicator line is determined, the result of which is incorporated into control operation of an automatic transmission, for example.

    Abstract: A work machine having a tilt mechanism for tilting the working body of the machine relative to the base frame is disclosed. An embodiment includes a support tilt frame, a center tilt frame, an upper tilt frame, and a coupling mechanism. The coupling mechanism includes a variable-length pitch support member, a pitch pivot link, and a roll support member. When tilting is desired, the pitch support member is actuated to move the pitch pivot link and, by extension or retraction, the roll support member. The roll support member is pivotally connected to the upper tilt frame and movement of the roll support member causes the upper tilt frame to move in a pitch or roll direction due to pitch and roll pivoting joints.

    Abstract: A vibration control system controls transmission of vibrations from a vibration source to a base. The vibration control system comprises a vibration control assembly. The vibration control assembly has a bracket fixed to the vibration source, a pair of driving members holding the bracket therebetween and deformable or displaceable in opposite directions and by substantially the same amount in response to at least one control signal corresponding to the vibrations from the vibration source, one of the driving members being arranged between the bracket and the base, and a bolt securing the bracket and the driving members to the base.
