摘要: An image processing device includes: an analysis unit to analyze vector image data including line information and area color information; a detection unit to detect a boundary pixel through which an outline passes; a determination unit to determine whether the outline passes longitudinally through the boundary pixel; and a coloring unit to sequentially fill each pixel on a scan line. A color of a target pixel is calculated based on the area color information and the target pixel is filled with the calculated color when the target pixel is a boundary pixel. A reference filling color is changed from the first color to the second color defined for a target pixel when the target pixel is a boundary pixel through which an outline passes longitudinally. A target pixel is filled with the reference filling color when the target pixel is not a boundary pixel.

摘要: A display apparatus is designed to make a display corresponding to one pixel through the use of a plurality of rectangular display elements. The apparatus comprises a multi-gradation character generating unit for generating information on a multi-gradation character image obtained by gradating a character edge portion and an element display control unit for controlling a display state in a display unit on the basis of information on this multi-gradation character image so that the multi-gradation character image is displayed in a state where each of the rectangular display elements constituting the display unit is associated with one or more pixels, thus reducing the quantization error so that character display with high visibility is achievable in the case of display of highly fine characters.

摘要: Having an outline font data readout unit read a correction subject pixel and surrounding pixels thereof, referring to the already stored pre-correction and post-correction brightness value pattern data that are related to the read correction subject pixel and surrounding pixels, deriving a post-correction brightness value pattern uniquely from among candidates for a post-correction brightness value pattern of an appropriate value as post-correction brightness value, determining the optimal post-correction brightness value from the uniquely derived post-correction brightness value pattern and outputting correction data based on the determined optimal post-correction brightness value, thereby changing a brightness value of a pixel within a character image giving a look of unnaturalness automatically to a brightness value not giving a look thereof.

摘要: An optical device for forming an image of an uneven surface, including a plane-parallel plate with a pair of parallel plane surfaces which is made of a transparent material having a refractive index larger than that of water and transparent to illuminating light. An uneven object (object having an uneven surface) is placed in close contact with one plane surface of the plane-parallel plate. A light source illuminates the uneven object through the plane-parallel plate. Among light rays scattered back into the plane-parallel plate by the uneven object and totally reflected at the other plane surface of the plane-parallel plate, only light that is totally reflected at an angle larger than the critical angle at the boundary between the plane-parallel plate and water is taken in by an image-forming device.

Guide posts (30) are fixed to the punch holder and extends through the die holder downwardly. A mount (40) to be fixed onto the press bolster has a flat top surface on which the die holder is fixedly mounted and has a plurality of guide-post-receiving holes (401) in which coil springs (402) are contained to raise the guide posts received together with the punch holder. A plurality of load-supporting elements (50) are fixed onto the bottom surface of the die holder near slug clearance holes thereof.
