    摘要: A thin-film type electromagnetic transducer formed on a nonmagnetic substrate by a thin-film forming process. The transducer includes a magnetic core formed on the substrate by the thin-film forming process, and a conductor coil formed on the substrate by the thin-film forming process, so as to be wound around the core. The core is shaped so that a leakage flux generated along the plane of the substrate is greater than that generated in a direction intersecting with the plane of the substrate, the leakage fluxes being generated from the core when a current is supplied to the coil. In a method for transferring signals from the thin-film type electromagnetic transducer described above, a magnetic head is located so as to face that region of the core of the transducer where the maximum leakage flux is generated. The magnetic head has a magnetic gap such that the direction of a leakage flux generated in the gap is coincident with that of the maximum leakage flux from the core, and whereby magnetic signals are transferred between the magnetic head and the maximum-leakage-flux generating region of the core.

    摘要: Disclosed is a data-processing apparatus comprising a data-processing unit, a connector unit, a pin-protecting member, and lock members. The lock members hold the pin-protecting member in a first position where the pin-protecting member opposes the pins and prevents anything other than the card-shaped recording medium from abutting on the pins and protects the pins from dust. When a card-shaped recording medium is inserted into the apparatus, the lock members release the pin-protecting member from the first position, whereby the pin-protecting member is moved to a second position. In the second position, the pin-protecting member allows an electrical connection between the pins and the connector of the recording medium. When the recording medium is pulled from the apparatus, the pin-protecting member is moved from the second position back to the first position. In the first position, the pin-protecting member prevents anything other than the recording medium from abutting on the pins, thus protecting the pins from damage and also from dust.

    摘要: A tape position detection apparatus is disclosed wherein a tape is first fed in a forward direction from one reel to another for a predetermined period of time, under the control of a tape transit control circuit. When the reels rotate, respective pulse generators generate pulses which are counted by corresponding reel counters. The counting periods are set by control circuits, and upon completion of a counting period, the count obtained is stored as first count data in a memory circuit. Also, as a capstan for feeding the tape rotates, a corresponding pulse generator generates pulses which are counted by capstan counters. In accordance with the count, an operational circuit calculates the residual amount of tape for presentation on a display. In the meantime, upon completion of the first counting period described above, the tape is fed in the reverse direction by a logic control circuit, during which time the count obtained when the tape was fed in the forward direction is compared, in a comparison circuit, with the count obtained when the tape is fed in the reverse direction. When the count data being compared become substantially equal, the tape is stopped.

    摘要: An IC element is incorporated in a card substrate, and includes at least a memory in which data can be stored and from which it can be read out. A pre-processing section is incorporated in the card substrate, to receive an output from the IC element. The pre-processing section pre-enhances readout data from the memory of the IC element, so as to substantially attenuate high-frequency components of the data. A transducer is incorporated in the card substrate to receive an output from the pre-processing section. The transducer generates a magnetic field corresponding to the data read out from the memory of the IC element and supplied via the pre-processing section.
