The injection hole plate provided with injection holes is welded to one of the valve body and the nozzle holder. The planar wall may be curved and may be thus convex in an upstream direction toward a downstream end opening such that the planar wall is urged against a peripheral edge of the downstream end opening of the valve body. The planar wall may include a reinforcing rib located radially outward of the injection hole.

    摘要: There is provided a fuel injection valve in which nozzle holes are formed on a metering plate and fuel flowing on a face of the metering plate on the upstream side is injected outside of a face of the metering plate on the downstream side through the nozzle holes. The fuel injection valve includes a vortex flow generator means for changing a flow of fuel passing in each nozzle hole into a vortex flow, wherein the vortex flow generator means is provided on the upstream side of the metering plate. The vortex flow means is a vortex flow generator groove provided on an upper face of the metering plate and connected with a wall face of an entrance of the nozzle hole, and a main stream of fuel flowing in the groove is directed to a position shifted from the center of the nozzle hole. Alternatively, the vortex flow means is a protrusion formed on an upper face of the metering plate. A flow of fuel is changed into a vortex flow in the nozzle hole and injected from the nozzle hole. Therefore, fuel can be excellently atomized and diffused as a megaphone-shape without being formed into a liquid column spray.

    摘要: In an injection hole plate of a fuel injection device, injection holes are arranged about a circle. Fuel injected from the injection holes forms a flat sector-shaped spray. The intervals between adjacent injection holes are approximately equal to each other, while the diameters of the injection holes are equal to each other. An injection hole is positioned on an imaginary plane, which contains the central axis of the sector-shaped spray along the injection direction and is orthogonal or approximately orthogonal to the sector-shaped spray. The injection holes, away from the imaginary plane in this order, are symmetric with respect to the line of intersection of the injection hole plate and the imaginary plane. The farther each injection hole is away from the imaginary plane, the larger an angle of gradient of the injection hole with respect to the imaginary plane becomes.

    摘要: The present invention makes it possible to obtain good characteristics of forming sprays of fuel jetted through a plurality of injection ports of a fuel injection valve with respect to separation of sprays in different directions, atomization, jetting angles and penetrating force.Fuel jetted through the injection ports of the fuel injection valve is jetted in separate jets from a plurality of fuel flow separating holes of a sleeve nozzle. On the other hand, band-like assist air flows are jetted in a two-dimensional manner from slit-like air holes opened on the opposite sides of the fuel flow separating holes to impinge obliquely against the jetted fuel. Atomization of fuel jetted through the plurality of fuel flow separating holes is thereby promoted and fuel sprays are accurately separated and supplied independently in two directions toward two intake valves while the directions of jets from the injection ports of the fuel injection valve are maintained, thus injecting and supplying fuel. As a result, an amount of fuel impinging directly against walls which separates and forms two intake ports is reduced and an amount of atomized sprayed fuel directly entering a combustion chamber from the intake ports is therefore increased, thereby improving combustion characteristics.

    摘要: A fuel feed apparatus of an internal combustion engine is provided having a fuel passage serving to guide fuel in a predetermined direction, and an assist air passage serving to collide assist air against the fuel. The apparatus includes an inner member formed therein with the fuel passage extending from one end surface to another end surface thereof. An outer member is provided in surrounding relation to the inner member and forms the assist air passage between the inner member and the outer member. The outer member has at least one penetrating hole penetrating therethrough defining an inlet opening of the assist air passage. The air passage extends from the penetrating hole in a direction along fuel injection and has an outlet opening opened to an outlet side of the fuel passage. The outer member is joined to the inner member at an outer periphery of the one end surface of the inner member.

    摘要: Twelve injection holes formed on an injection hole member are separated into two groups, each one of the two groups has six injection holes for forming a spray. Each injection hole is formed such that its injected fuel flow path center diverges from an injection center axis as fuel advances in an injection direction. Respective injected fuel flow path centers diverge from each other as fuel advances in the injection direction. Accordingly, fuel injected from the injection holes do not collide each other and form sprays. Thus, the spray is uniformly atomized, and a deviation of the spray direction is prevented.
