摘要: A thermal recording system for recording an image on a thermo-sensitive recording medium using a laser beam under a preheated condition of the thermo-sensitive recording medium. In the thermal recording system, a preheating device preheats the thermo-sensitive recording medium which has leuco dyes, a developer and light-absorbing dyes all provided on a support, and which develops color in a continuous tone at a density corresponding to the energy of the applied heat, to a predetermined temperature less than a color-developing temperature. A heating-beam generating device allows a laser beam to scan the thermo-sensitive recording medium so as to heat the thermo-sensitive recording medium to a predetermined color-developing temperature. Thus, the heating-beam generating device can control the laser beam in a sufficient control range, thereby making it possible to record an image on the thermo-sensitive recording medium with high accuracy.

摘要: Images or other information is recorded by a thermal recording apparatus on a thermosensitive recording medium which has a support coated with a coloring agent, a color developer, and light-absorbing dyes, and produces color whose density depends on thermal energy that is applied to the thermosensitive recording medium. The thermal recording apparatus has a plurality of laser beam generators for generating respective laser beams, and an optical scanning system for scanning the thermosensitive recording medium with the laser beams at respective different positions thereon. One of the laser beam generators produces a laser beam to scan the thermosensitive recording medium earlier than the laser beams generated by the other laser beam generators, and the laser beam has a thermal energy which is high enough to enable the thermosensitive recording medium to produce the color. The laser beam generators apply the respective laser beams at different incident angles to the optical scanning system.

摘要: An X-ray imaging system is provided with an X-ray source (11), first and second absorption gratings (31, 32), and a flat panel detector (FPD) (30), and obtains a phase contrast image of an object H by performing imaging while moving the second absorption grating (32) in x direction relative to the first absorption grating (31). The following mathematical expression is satisfied where p1′ denotes a period of a first pattern image at a position of the second absorption grating (32), and p2′ denotes a substantial grating pitch of the second absorption grating (32), and DX denotes a dimension, in the x-direction, of an X-ray imaging area of each pixel of the FPD (30). Here, “n” denotes a positive integer. DX≠n×(p1′×p2′)/|p1′−p2′|

摘要: A radiographic image capturing apparatus includes a housing and a radiation detector accommodated in the housing. The radiation detector includes a scintillator for converting radiation into visible light and photodiodes for converting the visible light into electric charges. If it is assumed that a temperature-dependent rate of change in sensitivity of the scintillator with respect to the radiation is represented by A [%/K] and a temperature-dependent rate of change in sensitivity of the photodiodes with respect to visible light is represented by B [%/K], a scintillator and photodiodes are selected having temperature-dependent rates of change A and B that satisfy the following inequality (1): −0.35 [%/K]

摘要: An image reading method and apparatus for reading an image signal by exposure to reading light L2 from a radiation solid-state detector, where radiation image information is recorded by exposure to recording light L1, suppresses degradation of image quality such as the S/N ratio of a reproduced image, the degradation being caused by an effect of charges which are produced by exposure to excessive radiation or the like and remains in the radiation solid-state detector. In the image reading method and apparatus, a past image signal read regarding past image information recorded in the radiation solid-state detector in the past, and an elapsed time from a time of recording the past image information in the radiation solid-state detector to a time of recording the current radiation image information are stored. The current image signal is then corrected based on the recorded past image information and the elapsed time.

摘要: In a radiation image reading method for reading image signals corresponding to radiation image information from a radiation solid-state detector in which the radiation image information is recorded by irradiation of a recording electromagnetic wave, correction of an offset and a gain in the image signals, which are attributable to a dark current of the radiation solid-state detector, is performed more accurately and easily. A correction pixel region, in which a light-shielding member 6 is provided so as to be adjacent to respective read pixels, and a correcting means 25 corrects an image signal corresponding to the read pixel based on a correction region signal corresponding to the correction pixel region adjacent to the read pixel.
