摘要： An apparatus for conveying continuous corrugated elongated members having a conveying belt which conveys the corrugated members in the longitudinal direction thereof, a rotor which has open slots for receiving the corrugated members and which is rotatable about an axis parallel to the axis of the rotor, a driving device for intermittently rotating the rotor, a transferring device for forcing the corrugated members fed by the conveying device into the open slots, a plurality of cartridges having grooves for receiving the corrugated members, a carrier for intermittently carrying the cartridges in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a pusher for pushing the corrugated members received in the open slots of the rotor out of the open slots into the receiving grooves of the cartridges.

摘要： Provided is a manufacturing method to prevent devitrification of a bulb in a high pressure discharge lamp used for a projector. The method is for manufacturing a high pressure discharge lamp which uses, as a light source, a bulb made of fused quartz and including a tungsten electrode, and which is horizontally installed when the lamp is driven for actual use. The method includes the step of initially driving the bulb with an optical axis thereof being set horizontally before the high pressure discharge lamp is shipped. In the initial driving step, the rotation angle around the optical axis of the bulb is offset by 45° or more and 135° or less relative to the rotation angle around the optical axis of the bulb when the lamp is driven for actual use.

摘要： A flux-contained welding wire is provided wherein a conductive core wire can be disposed without any complicate manufacturing steps performed on a metal outer layer. Flux is filled inside of the metal outer layer. The conductive core wire is disposed nearly in the center of the flux without being supported by the metal outer layer. The flux contains 20-80 weight % of metal powder. A weight % of the weight of the flux to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 6.5-30 weight %. The weight % of the weight of the conductive core wire to the weight of the welding wire per unit length is set in a range of 1.5-15 weight %.

摘要： A seat for use in a vehicle such as an automobile is disclosed which comprises a cushion member formed of foam material, a top member for covering the cushion member and a plurality of hanger members. In this seat, the top surface of the top member and the upper portion of the cushion member are respectively divided into a central portion and side portions independently of each other. A partition cloth is provided between the central and side portions of the top member and is then inserted within a cut groove separating the central and side portions of the cushion member from each other. After then, the hanger member is used to pull the inserted partition cloth and thus the top surface of the top member into their respective desired positions. With this structure, when an occupant is seated on the central portion of the seat, it is ensured that such a load applied to the central portion of the seat by the occupant will not have a deterimental effect on the peripheral or side portions of the seat.

摘要： In a fiber opening device in open-end spinning unit, having a combing roller which is encased by a casing and forming a fiber transferring passage between said combing roller and said casing, a wear-resistant member, preferably a member having a pin shape, is provided at an edge of an opening, e.g. a trash exit port opening formed in said casing and communicated with said passage. The structure of the fiber opening device according to the present invention makes possible easy installation of the wear-resistant member, and prevents harmful wear or bruising at said edge portion of the opening in the casing.
