摘要: An automotive radiator cooling system has a radiator cooling fan driven by a hydraulic motor actuated by a pressurized fluid fed through a hydraulic circuit from an engine-driven hydraulic pump. A bypass line extends in bypassing relationship to the hydraulic motor and has ends connected to the circuit upstream and downstream of the hydraulic motor, respectively. A check valve is provided in the bypass line and is operative to allow a flow of the fluid from a reservoir through the bypass line back into a part of the circuit upstream of the motor only when a pressure drop takes place in that part of the circuit due to free rotation of the cooling fan, and thus of the motor, independently of the drive by the hydraulic pump. The backward flow of the fluid is operative to compensate for the pressure drop to prevent the occurrence of cavitation in the circuit upstream of the motor. Desirably, the bypass line is incorporated into the housing of the hydraulic motor.

摘要: A motion control system is applied to a vehicle, which has front wheel side suspensions with an anti-dive geometry and rear wheel side suspensions with an anti-lift geometry. A degree of an anti-lift effect of the anti-lift geometry is larger than a degree of an anti-dive effect of the anti-dive geometry. Normally, a controller controls a hydraulic unit such that a brake force distribution between front wheels and rear wheels during a braking-period is adjusted to a basic distribution. In contrast, in a state where abrupt application of brakes is started, the controller controls the hydraulic unit such that the brake force distribution is adjusted to a first distribution, at which a brake force respectively applied to the rear wheels is larger than that of the basic distribution only for a predetermined short time period upon starting of the application of the brakes.

摘要: During normal braking, a brake fluid supply route is used through which brake fluid is supplied from a master reservoir to wheel cylinders to using first to fourth pumps. When an abnormality occurs, a route is used through which a master cylinder pressure, which is generated by depressing a brake pedal, is transmitted through brake conduits to the wheel cylinders for both front wheels. First to fourth linear valves are provided in parallel with the first to fourth pumps, respectively, and during normal braking, the first to fourth linear valves are operated under duty control to adjust the wheel cylinder pressures that are generated in the wheel cylinders to, respectively.

摘要: A motion control system is applied to a vehicle, which has front wheel side suspensions with an anti-dive geometry and rear wheel side suspensions with an anti-lift geometry. 摘要: A device for transmitting rotational power from an automobile engine to a compressor for use in an automobile air conditioning system is provided. The device includes a pulley, which is supported on a housing of the compressor for rotation, for receiving rotational power from the automobile engine, and a hub connected to the drive shaft. At least one elastic member which defines outer and inner peripheral surfaces is provided. A first holder member is provided along the outer periphery of the hub for holding the elastic member. A second holder member, which is connected to the pulley, is provided for holding the elastic member. The first and second holder members radially cooperate with each other to circumferentially hold the elastic member during normal operation to transmit the rotation. The first and second holder members are disconnected by deformation of the at least one elastic member when a relative rotation between the pulley and drive shaft occurs. The connecting member and the first holder member define a relief clearance therebetween for facilitating the deformation of the at least one connecting member.

摘要: A control portion stores an actual brake force distribution characteristic line indicating relation between a front brake force allocated to the front wheel and a rear brake force allocated to the rear wheel, wherein the actual brake force distribution characteristic line is determined based on an ideal brake force distribution characteristic line so that, in achieving a given deceleration, a ratio of the front brake force to the rear brake force becomes smaller in the case that the distribution is calculated by using the actual brake force distribution characteristic line than in the case that the distribution is calculated by using the ideal brake force distribution characteristic line. The control portion calculates the distribution by using the actual brake force distribution characteristic line and determines, based on the calculated distribution, the wheel cylinder pressures to be generated at the front wheel cylinder the rear wheel cylinder.

When abrupt steering operation is started from a straight-ahead driving state of the vehicle in a non-operating period of a brake pedal of the vehicle, a controller controls a hydraulic unit such that a brake force is applied to a radially outer one of front left and right wheels, which is located on an outer side in a radial direction of an arc of turn of the vehicle upon starting the steering operation, and also to a radially inner one of rear left and right wheels, which is located on an inner side in the radial direction of the arc of the turn for a predetermined short time period.
