Particularly, the present invention provides a method of producing neurons for treating injuries with the loss of neuron function from stem cells, wherein the stem cell is a human derived mesenchymal stem cell, preferably human derived placental mesenchymal stem cell, bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell, adipose mesenchymal stem cell and liver mesenchymal stem cell. The present invention also provides the uses of said method and the nerve cells produced by said method in the preparation of medicines for treating injuries with the loss of neuron function and in the treatment of injuries with the loss of neuron function. The present invention further provides a method of treating injuries with the loss of neuron function.

The present invention discloses methods of digitally converting 2D motion pictures or any other 2D image sequences to stereoscopic 3D image data for 3D exhibition. In one embodiment, various types of image data cues can be collected from 2D source images by various methods and then used for producing two distinct stereoscopic 3D views. Embodiments of the disclosed methods can be implemented within a highly efficient system comprising both software and computing hardware. The architectural model of some embodiments of the system is equally applicable to a wide range of conversion, re-mastering and visual enhancement applications for motion pictures and other image sequences, including converting a 2D motion picture or a 2D image sequence to 3D, re-mastering a motion picture or a video sequence to a different frame rate, enhancing the quality of a motion picture or other image sequences, or other conversions that facilitate further improvement in visual image quality within a projector to produce the enhanced images.

A process and methods of digital enhancement of motion pictures and other moving image sequences for the purpose of being exhibited in an alternative display format including a large format cinema are disclosed. The invention efficiently enhances image resolution and quality through a temporal filtering process and achieves high performance using automated or interactive statistical quality evaluation methods. A system specially designed for efficient temporal computing with a parallel and distributed computing configuration equipped with a variety of optimization schemes is also disclosed. The performance of the process and the system is optimized through an intelligent controller and is scalable to support any throughput requirements demanded for concurrent motion picture releases in the original format as well as in any alternative format.

The present invention includes a peel-away protective cover to help prevent contamination of a connector prior to insertion into a radiation source delivery device. The protective cover comprises a top sheet and a bottom sheet that are sealed together to create a protective pouch within which a connector may be positioned. The top sheet and bottom sheet may be peeled away in a proximal to distal direction in order to expose the connector for insertion into a radiation source delivery device. The proximal to distal peel-away directs any contaminants present on the protective cover away from the exposed connector. In one embodiment, the protective cover may be completely peeled away from the connector. In another embodiment, the protective cover may be partially peeled away so that the separated top and bottom sheets shield the connection to the radiation source delivery device.
