摘要: A stock rubber is provided with chopped aramid fibers and chopped polyester fibers blended in the rubber component, which is EPDM. The chopped polyester fibers are longer than the chopped aramid fibers. A transmission V-belt is obtained and molded from the stock rubber. When molding, the chopped aramid fibers and the chopped polyester fibers are oriented in a width direction of a belt body of the V-belt.

摘要: The durability of a frictional power transmission belt is improved. A V-ribbed belt (10) comprises an adhesion rubber portion (12) and a compression rubber portion (14) provided below the adhesion rubber portion (12). A cord (11) that is a tension member of the belt is embedded in the adhesion rubber portion (12). The adhesion rubber portion (12) includes an upper layer (12A) constituting the upper side and a lower layer (12B) constituting the lower side, which are located across the cord (11). The upper layer (12A) and the lower layer (12B) are obtained by vulcanizing a rubber composition including a high-viscosity elastomer such as EPM or EPDM, and a low-viscosity elastomer which is lower in Mooney viscosity than the high-viscosity elastomer, and contain modified nylon microfibers as short fibers (21A), (21B), respectively. The short fibers (21A), (21B) are oriented, respectively, in the width direction and longitudinal direction of the belt.

摘要: A target moving object tracking device takes a time series of picture images of a target moving object, and track a movement of the moving object in the picture images for displaying an enlarged view of the moving object. The device includes a template memory storing a template image which is compared with each one of time-series outline images given from the picture images to determine a partial area in match with the template image for each of the outline images and extract the partial areas as a moving object outline image. The template image is constantly updated by being replaced with a combination of the previous moving object outline images to accurately reflect the moving object.

摘要: A spatial information detecting apparatus using an intensity-modulated light has a photoelectric converter for receiving a light provided from a space, into which a light intensity-modulated by a predetermined modulation signal is being irradiated, and generating amounts of electric charges corresponding to an intensity of received light; charge discarding portion having an electrode for removing dispensable charges from the electric charges generated by the photoelectric converter according to a voltage applied to the electrode; charge storage portion for storing signal charges from the electric charges generated by the photoelectric converter; control circuit for controlling the voltage applied to the electrode at a timing synchronized with a period of the modulation signal to change a ratio of the signal charges stored in the charge storage portion to the electric charges generated by the photoelectric converter; charge ejector for outputting the signal charges from the charge storage portion; and an analyzer for determining spatial information from an output of the charge ejector. According to this apparatus, since the dispensable charges are previously removed from the electric charges generated by the photoelectric converter by the charge discarding portion, it is possible to improve S/N ratio and accurately determine the spatial information.

摘要: An intake air flow detecting device is provided to an intake air passage, through which intake air flows into an internal combustion engine. Intake air flow is divided into a main passage and a bypass passage. The detecting device includes a thermal air flowmeter, a bypass flow delay information calculating means, and a response delay compensating means. The thermal air flowmeter includes a detector arranged in the bypass passage for detecting an air flow amount in the intake air passage. The bypass flow delay information calculating means calculates a bypass flow delay information representing delay in variation in a flow amount in the bypass passage with respect to variation in a flow amount in the main passage. The response delay compensating means compensates delay in response of the air flowmeter in accordance with the bypass flow delay information.

摘要: A photosensitive recording medium having a multiplicity of microcapsules formed on a substrate, and a developer material, each microcapsule having a photosensitive resin and a chromogenic material which reacts with the developer layer to form a colored image spot. The microcapsules comprising a plurality of microcapsule groups which are sensitive to radiations having different wavelength bands, or which are sensitive to different intensities of the radiation. An image recording system is provided with an illuminating device for generating radiations of different wavelengths falling within the wavelength bands of the microcapsule groups, or a radiation of variable intensity. The recording system has a selector for selecting at least one of the radiations of the different wavelengths, or one of the intensity levels of the radiation, in order to adjust the contrast of the images formed on the medium, with respect to non-image areas on the medium.
