Highly polymerizable diamine compounds having a phosphorylcholine group are disclosed. High-molecular weight polymers are obtained from the highly polymerizable diamine compound having a phosphorylcholine group as a monomer, and the polymers have improved mechanical strength, water resistance and heat resistance while maintaining excellent biocompatibility and processability of MPC polymers. Processes for producing the polymers are disclosed. The diamine compounds having a phosphorylcholine group are represented by Formula (I). The polymers contain at least 1 mol % of a specific structural unit with a phosphorylcholine group represented by Formula (II) and have a number average molecular weight of not less than 5,000. In the processes, the diamine compound is used as a monomer.

A surface-treated steel sheet having a Co layer, wherein oxidation of the surface is prevented without deteriorating characteristics such as electrical conductivity. A surface-treated steel sheet which is provided with a Co layer on the surface is immersed in an antirust agent, which contains a fatty acid amine and uses water as a solvent, and then dried, thereby forming an antirust coating film on the surface of the surface-treated steel sheet. The antirust coating film containing the fatty acid amine has a thickness of 10-500 Å (in terms of SiO2) as determined by XPS depth analysis. Preferably, the fatty acid amine is benzenemethanamine or trimethylamine, and more preferably, the fatty acid amine additionally contains benzotriazole.

The present invention provides a tissue adhesion prevention material preparable at an affected area at the time of surgical procedure by producing a three-dimensional polymeric structure having a flexible structure and high solute permeability in a medium comprising water as the main component under mild conditions appropriate for body tissue components (i.e., at ordinary temperature and pressure) without conducting a chemical reaction or employing a physical procedure such as heating or light or radiation irradiation. This makes it possible to provide a tissue adhesion prevention material and a joint contracture prevention materials, which can effectively prevent postoperative adhesion of a tissue in the affected area to the surrounding tissue and contracture of the movable part of a joint.The tissue adhesion prevention material and/or the joint contracture prevention material of the present invention comprise, as the main component, a composition comprising a compound having a polyvalent hydroxyl group and a polymer containing phosphorylcholine groups and phenylboronic acid groups.
